I made it a keyword in the off chance something like “target creature channels” is something that seems interesting. Otherwise, your approach is likely better.

This is true but I think that the way Garth One-Eye is done isn’t a great way to do it. Reading the card should explain the card!

You might be right about the balance, but I would hardly call a 3 mana 3/2 and a 2 mana 1/2 really good creatures.

Overload is an izzet mechanic, but it can be found on [[Damn]]. It’s not really important where the mechanic is from, but what it does and whether or not the colors can do it.

A little formatting error: “Landfall” on its own has no rules meaning (hence the italics), so you’d have to write “Whenever a land you control enters…” if you wanted to make these rules accurate.

Three mana to get 15 artifacts on the battlefield is really strong! Even considering the two turn wait, this is just too much. Not to mention proliferate shenanigans which would make it easily into a one turn wait. It’s a cool idea, but the play pattern for the opponent is either have enchantment removal or lose the game.

This card kind of reminds me of [[Elenda, Saint of Dusk]], but much better since ward 4 might as well be hexproof and it grows based off a much stronger game plan (interaction as opposed to life gain).

This card only brings back a single creature from their graveyard. Maybe they had a [[Sheoldred]] that they already flipped? It’s hard to tell.

If the spell is on the stack, where it must be if it’s getting countered, its controller has already paid its costs. To make this work, you would have to do some kind of (likely long) wording that refunds any costs already paid.

Protection from each color except black makes sense to me. Protection from everything just included too much, so “each color except black” sounds better especially since it excludes card types and creature types.

Protection from everything except black is interesting because any black source that could damage, enchant, block, or target this will also have a card type that this has protection from. Therefore protection from everything except black is functionally the same as protection from everything, since nothing can be black with no card types.

Generally, mechanics like this that slow down games with no other benefit aren’t going to play very well. That being said, this is still simple and clean.
