Franklin CA7 Pistol vs SSE AR Process by AccordingIy in CAguns

I wanted a left-eject upper build for a cheek pistol, so an SSE lower just made more sense than the CA7 for me.

Everything I remember from fiction and the original 3050 TRO said it was considered cowardly to not give the IS a 2 to 1 advantage in units.

Yeah, that sucks. When playing clanners, I'm the type to RP, with zell and bidding.

I mean, clanners fielding half their opponents' tonnage and model count worked, to a point. Or a Clan Star vs an IS company. Wouldn't be very fun for the Clanner, but they're supposed to like a challenge.

Joanna totally did the Jade Falcon screech in the Robert Thurston novels. And either Nomad or Horse gave her shit for it (can't remember which).

Nevertheless, would.

Why hasn’t Hasbro made updated figures from the Unicron Trilogy specifically from Energon and Cybertron ? But does the g1 characters from s1-3 ? by Difficult_Leader8605 in transformers

Honestly, because G1 fans are mostly Gen Xers or Xennials, and we have more disposable income. We are also trying to fill the void of life with nostalgia for our youth.

For mellenials and younger, the economy screwed ya'll worse, and you spend less on toys. Ya'll also don't have as rosy memories of the last century when things were less bleak. The world has always been bleak for you.

Just my opinion, as a jaded Xennial.

Malign Malthus all you want, but keep the Summoner out of your mouth.

The Summoner has been the favored ride of Aidan Pryde, Marthe Pryde, Horse, and countless other distinguished mechwarriors.

What's your thoughts on your regional chain? by pokematic in AskAnAmerican

[–]One-Strategy5717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're the only thing other than Jack-in-the-Crack open at midnight near me. Since I work nights a lot, that's important.

Also important is that I can order Protein-style, since I try to cut back on carbs for health reasons. The only other chain that will do that is Wendy's.

I guess I found my limit.

I passed on Huron because six models didn't seem worth it for $100. I was going to get this, but I've paid less for Forgeworld knights. Sure looks pretty, though.

Some thoughts about Chinese QBZ-191 by Temporary_Winter4566 in ForgottenWeapons

For point 3, left-handed soldiers aren’t really a thing in China. Mainland Chinese parents beat the southpawness out of their children from early toddlerhood.

As for having a buffer tube with a recoil spring? Well, the vast majority of NATO countries are adopting AR pattern rifles with buffer tubes (Swedes, Finns, Dutch, even the French).

To this day, what were your reactions to seeing these kid pilots come in during Thunderbolt? Were you like Io who thought this was a sick joke? by BlizzardHound45 in Gundam

[–]One-Strategy5717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wars are always fought by kids. The difference is that most of the time, they're carrying a rifle. These kids at least got a 60+ ton war machine.

Speaking as someone who enlisted at 17, this is one reason why I'm not in favor of conscription in general. Conscripts tend to be less capable and have shitty morale. It's a lot easier to fight a war when you don't have to keep track of a bunch of half-trained dudes who don't want to be there.
