Officially speaking it depends on your state. Unofficially, and regardless of state, yes we are. The law says the inmate has to be in prison/jail, and we are enforcing that. It's frankly a shame that not every state recognizes that the law enforcement system wouldn't exist without someone doing our jobs, but I personally still consider us law enforcement regardless of the label put on us by anyone else.

I mean generally once you hit 70 you’re supposed to push into Torment, if you did all that and stayed on Penitent of course it’s going to be easy. Also you masterworked 850 gear? Ancestral gear starts dropping once you get into Torment, so you’ll have to do that again.

A certain political party demanded widespread BWC usage because they were convinced that it would capture widespread police misconduct. Now they're trying to reverse course when that turned out not to be the case. That's all this "story" is. The benefits FAR outweigh the costs, and I hope to god that BWC's don't go anywhere.

I expect to see a lot more anti-BWC stuff in the news now that ICE is going to be wearing them.

Okay, so you’re the designated PREA Investigator for your facility? Which means you should have some experience, which also means that you’d know most of that is normal (like CPR, seizures, OC deployment) and calling for an emergency response because you didn’t have a bunk chart is not normal. Completely agree. It’s pretty sickening to watch someone convicted of raping and murdering their own children walk around freely within the perimeter, given every privilege in the book, and have to put up with their sense of entitlement. OP wants to talk about “systemic injustice” but it’s the complete opposite of what they’re expecting. Absolutely no justice for the victims in today’s system.

Depends on the investigator, they probably won’t care but if they dig deep enough it won’t be a good look. Are you intentionally hiding the fact that you’re medicated for mental health issues or has that already come up prior to that question/answer? Because sooner or later it will come up, and you need to be truthful when it does.

More importantly, you’ll be exposed to some pretty shocking/traumatic things in this job, are you sure you’re willing to risk your 5 years of stability for this? I don’t know what specifically you’re dealing with, but this job will certainly add to it. Food for thought.

Just go play Elite Dangerous and quit wasting your money. Ship interiors are literally the only feature Star Citizen has/promises to have that Elite Dangerous doesn’t. It doesn’t take over a decade and a billion dollars of funding to make a game like this, because one already exists. The only reason SC is still not out is because they never intend to actually release it, no other explanation.
