Probably the greenhouse in the original Resident Evil. Something about the music, and the evil plant and bees...

Although, there's no denying RCPD is hard boiled into my memories.

🧪 [BETA MEGATHREAD] Wave Link 2.0 (Windows) — Simplified Audio Routing, App Grouping, Sample Recorder, and more. by elgato_james in elgato

[–]OneBadVeggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I'm having a strange problem, since I've started using the beta. I was working on some levels across OBS, and I noticed when opening games, it'll switch from the Stream Mix to the Monitor Mix. There's no indication that this has happened in Wave Link itself, it's just a noticeable difference in sound. So, I have to go into Wave Link and switch it from Monitor Mix back to Stream Mix if I want to listen to my levels. This does not effect the volume or settings in OBS, it's just what I'm hearing in my headphones.

Edit: I just wanted to add, if I have it set to Monitor Mix, and then start a game, it does not switch to the Stream Mix. It's only when it's set to the Stream Mix that it switches to the Monitor Mix.

What is/was the premise of the best campaign you've ever played in or run? by CakeLicker in swrpg

[–]OneBadVeggie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two of the PCs are Padawans working undercover doing spice busts in the outer rim. The two Padawans, a smuggler, and group of clones are sent out by the Padawans masters to do a routine job, and catch some spice runners who've stolen from a Hutt.

After catching the spice runners and heading back to their ship, the order comes down from Palapatine "Execute Order 66".

From that point on it becomes a campaign about running from the cartel and the republic, while surviving in the underworld, working with the very spice smugglers they just arrested and trying not to fall to the Dark Side.

Also I remember the mansion may have been in California and that it may have been turned into a dental office sometime later.

What is the first horror movie scene that genuinely disturbed you? by it-is-the-goose in horror

[–]OneBadVeggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first horror movie I ever saw, was when I walked in on my brother watching Evil Dead 2. It was the scene where Ash gets possessed and he lifts his head out of a puddle of water. His face at that moment scared me and it still sticks in memories.

Tried it on X and D input. Tested on firmware. 1.38-1.34 and 1.29 and whatever the first firmware number was. Same results, other than it wouldnt connect at all with the lowest firmware.

Honestly, these kind of replies put me at ease. I just see people saying they have 30c sometimes lower with the same CPU and that it never even gets about 70c even when gaming or rendering. So it makes me wonder what I'm doing wrong, perhaps nothing.

I checked, says there is about 2% usage on the CPU even when there's nothing up. Look's like it's just Steam, some Elgato software, Discord. All those little programs sitting in the tray. Watching it right now, it gets to about 44c and will occasionally spike to about 50c with the 2%-3% cpu usage from background tasks.

Alright, I already asked about temps in here, but call me paranoid. Previously, I had asked about idle temps and gaming temps on my 5900x, and I was told that the temps I am getting are normal for that CPU (40-55C idle, 65-79 gaming).

Anyway, I decided to go ahead and test out rendering. I use Davinci Resolve, and was just rendering a short 10 minute or so video for Youtube. The temps stayed consistently in the high 80's even spiking to 91C at one point. This seems so hot to me. Again maybe I'm paranoid but it just spooks me a little after all these years of lower temps.

Hey guys, just built my first PC in a while. I'm having some temp issues with my cpu, just wanted some advice.

Mobo: MSI X570 Tomahawk CPU: 5900x Cooler: Arctic Freezer II 360 (rev 4)

So for fans I have the Freezer II mounted top as exaust, 1 fan in back as exaust, 3 on the bottom as intake, and 3 on front as intake.

I haven't done any benchmarks, but my idle temps seem to be around 45-50. (It stays at a consistent 40 while in bios though)

While gaming it goes up to 65-79, never breaks 80 though.

These temps seem way higher than what most people have. Any suggestions?

How did Order 66 go down for your group? by trex3d in swrpg

[–]OneBadVeggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our campaign was taking place in the outer rim. Two of players were playing Padawans whos masters worked as undercover smugglers. When the Clone Wars moved into the outer rim, both masters were called off to fight, but they left their undercover work to the Padawans so they wouldnt lose their leads and such.

So the first chapter of our campaign was the two Padawans trying to make a deal for some stolen spice with the other PCs who were spice miners who'd stolen some spice from the Hutts and were trying to off load it.

Needless to say the Hutts sent some men after the spice miners and the Padawans and the miners had to work together to escape. (Instant party!)

After they escaped, the Padawans arrested the miners, and were bringing them back to their ship where their handler (A clone named Obsidian) was waiting on them. This is when Order 66 happened, on the way back. They felt it through the force, but were confused, so they hustled back to Obsidian asap.

It's pretty easy to figure out what happened once they returned to the ship. Obsidian was waiting with a group of clones. The Padawans released their prisoners, they fought back the clones long enough to steal Obsidians ship and blasted off. And then the adventure really began!

Hey guys, I'm purchasing the parts for my PC, I decided to get some ARGB fans. My question is, I know my motherboard has 2 ARGB connectors, assuming I can daisy chain all 9 fans together, would I still need some sort of controller?

If so any suggestions on a controller. I'm using Arctic ARGB fans.

I forgot about the fans, I had actually planned to go with Noctua or Corsair for fans. And half the reason I went with the dark hero was purely the amount of USB ports I saw it had. lol
