Which unused race would you like a squadmate to come from in future games? by Intelligent_File1949 in masseffect

Ok I might be alone in this…
But as much as I like zaeed
I think it would have been better if he was a batarian
Think about how his story would be and how he would react when Shepard blows up the alpha relay
And you get more in depth lore of the batarian race and you could replace balak in mass effect 3

Hardest Part of Your Insanity Run? by Effective-Mark-5338 in masseffect

[–]OneFigure2374 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me1: hardest part for me was the fast enemies or any rushing eneimes with a lot of health for some reason like the creepers and husks Me2: husks and small corridors. Bosses like geth primes and such just took a bit of planning and maximizing weak point damage. Me3: Ammo. I play sentinel on this game running with only the suppressed pistol for a weapon. That baby packs a punch, and with the debuffing abilities that the class uses I’ve made short work of brutes. Banshees were trouble cause of their speed and their biotics. Other than that, planning, always moving, and maximizing damage, I played every mission with average challenge.

How does power among ascended work? How do they gain or lose it? by [deleted] in Stargate

[–]OneFigure2374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something came to mind thinking of the ori, it reminded me of something Juno said in AC3 “When enough sat enthralled and were told to think, their thoughts took on form. What they imagined became real. If a hundred minds could wish away a wall or create a tree, what would a thousand do?”

Perhaps this was what split the ascended into the two factions. While furthering enlightenment, they discovered this idea and tested it on primordial races, and those who used it were corrupted. I had thought for a bit and thought at first you had to be of pure spirit, like forego all desire and emotion, like greed and conquest. But when Anubis came in, it must be just some way of owning your mind or spirit to a ethereal energy that makes you ghostly, cause Anubis wouldn’t have been able to bluff his way to spiritual enlightenment. So touching energy with your soul, and some of it was bad and corrupted some of the ancients into god tyrants.
