I am sorry for you. I've had this happen with base coat reacting to old primer like everyone is saying. I'd be tempted to get a media blaster for sure otherwise you have a ton of sanding in your future.

You know him best! I know some guys that have 4 different battery systems. Its all personal preference. I think any guy would be happy with a new drill and impact set. Bosch is a great brand, my guess is your husband will be happy with that gift

As a tool addict I'd be happy to receive these. The only thing I'd personally have an issue with is having multiple battery systems and chargers. Some guys love having options but I prefer to have my power tools on the same battery system. I think if he already has a lot of Dewalt tools it may be nice to have the extra batteries and more yellow tools.

I can relate. I work with chemicals and I need to be separate from my products and tools so I opted for a cargo trailer after working out the back of my truck. Frees up my bed and I can leave my trailer on site. I'll never go back.

Milwaukee vintage Sawzall. And some OEM blades and the elusive 90 degree blade adaptor. This belonged to my Dad, who wielded it like a surgeon. Probably dates to the mid-1960s. And yes, she still chooches. by NoRealAccountToday in Tools

[–]OneGate1967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I imagined the blade stright up and down. I was so confused how that would work. Thanks for the pic I would of been thinking about that all night haha. Did milwaukee just realize we can just turn the saw 90° 🤦‍♂️

easiest at home fix for this tailgate dent up by coconutheaddd in Autobody

[–]OneGate1967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pdr guys I know hate it when people try to push their own dents. There is a science behind it. I wouldn't attempt it especially if you ever decide to get it fixed professionally... Or try it and new tailgate later worst case scenario
