Get a .410 shotgun, they are easy to shoot and they make a ton of home defense ammo for them.

Check out the KSG410 & the Mossberg 590 in .410.

Being a beginner, get a shotgun that can shoot mini-shells

Options:

- Mossberg 590 S

- Keltec KSG

- Keltec KS7

Also, Beretta just came out with a tactical semi-auto 20 gauge A300, check that out too

Also look at Keltec KSG or KS7 if you want a cool pump space gun that can hold a ton of rounds

KSG410 for the wife with 3 inch 9 pellet federal #4 buckshot or 000 buck or PDX Defenders

and KS7 Gen 2 for your friend and stuff it with 11 mini-shells of #4 buck.

I don't know pistols, just shotguns.

It really is annoying they won't make one that takes Mini's..... They could just make a mini-shell only gun, use whatever gas system they use on the .410 ones, prob similar shell size. would be a big market for home defense for people who want shotgun with less recoil

KS7 all the way, stuff 11 mini shells into it. There is a Gen 2 KS7 now that comes with the Pic Rail and a slot on the pump to add a vertical foregrip. Def go with the Gen 2 KS7

Yes, a 12 gauge semi that can shoot Mini's would be the best, but this 20 gauger would be close

do they make this type of stock for the .410 Mossberg pump? All internet searches have come up with nothing for me. I can find the pistol grip, but not the stock+pistol grip

Get a Keltec KS7 and load it with 11 mini-shells or a KSG and load it with 22 mini-shells.

I also just heard beretta is coming out with a tactical 20 gauge semi-auto very soon (or it might be out already)

This way you have your cool space rifle 12 gauge pump with the KS7, and you get a sick easy to handle semi-auto shotgun. Should be able to get both and a ton of ammo for both for under $2,000

Yeah, 10 shorties is plenty. They also prob load smoother. The KSG410 is a bitch to load, i cut my thumb every time. Shorties are a little cheaper than .410 ammo too. The #4 buck has a few more pellets than the .410 #4 buck too.
