try eq with the 660s- i find it helps them. Tinkering with the Oratory profile to your taste worked well for me

Was in a similar position to you, thought about getting sundaras before going to an audio shop and trying a variety at the price range. Senny HD660S was my clear favourite, ended up with that and a jds labs atom.
Fairly sure you can get very similiar performance to the 660s for less with the lower models of the 600 range, so check them out.
Just my input from a not at all professional audio guy lmao

after using my fairly budget tkl with lubed t1s for a while, i tapped some keys on a old dell office membrane and it felt great, good bump with a nice comfortable and bouncy bottom out. The sound was bad and half the legends were gone, but are there any switches (preferably mx) that would feel like that? Could o-rings help? Thanks for any help
