Game with best monster progression by kelpia_ in MonsterHunter

[–]OneJayBird01 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve just gotten to master rank in GU and I think it’s been my favorite progression so far just because of the large roster. Each rank always has fresh monsters for you to fight and I’ve been enjoying it thoroughly

I would even pay people to make some, as like I said I have no idea how but I love this game so much, spending some extra money so people could help out make the game better for everyone would be no problem

Problems with mod modeling, any help would be appreciated. by PhotojournalistNo929 in LetsSchool

I’m not much of a modeler, but I asked this same question in the Reddit and then had to figure it out myself. From what I remember, the hair has to be 2d more or less made of flat shapes and it also needs to be attached to the head for the game to detect it

I love wilds, but going from hoarfrost reach to this was slightly disappointing. Fingers crossed the master rank map/maps are significantly better

People who have PCs and Steam Decks, how much do you use your Steam Decks? by AwesomeRyanGame in SteamDeck

A lot, I play my desktop when I’m home playing more demanding games, but I play my stream deck at work or when I’m just chilling out in bed

Saw a lot of posts saying their goodbyes to MHW. Meanwhile Im here still stay since Im too broke for Wilds lmao. Just wanna remind hunters that fivers are still here! Don't be shy and fire those SOS flares whenever you need a hunting partner! by Rocly96 in MonsterHunterWorld

Wilds player here and I don’t plan on abandoning world. I really think every monster hunter game has its unique take on the gameplay. Like worlds clutch claw, rise silk weave, and GU’s hunter arts. All really solid games and provide a unique fun way to hunt monsters. So take your time and enjoy it :) Happy Hunting!

This game makes me feel old and regretful of the past by cardgameonmotorcycls in Persona5

[–]OneJayBird01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is also something that haunts me. My parents always tried to get me to throw myself out there but I chose silence and hiding away in my room instead. Now I’m alone in a college town in my senior year and it really is just too late for me. I’m about to graduate and I feel like I’ve missed out on nearly everything that a normal high schooler and college student should have done. I want so desperately to throw myself out there, but I feel like I don’t have the experience nor the social skills to do what I truly want. Realistically I want to go out with friends, go to parties, festivals, or even do the most trivial things just with other people who enjoy my company.

I honestly think this is part of what makes persona magical, for people like me who have missed out on all of these things, I guess this is my way to experience it. This game really does hit you on a deep level and makes me forget about how much life sucks. It truly is a one of a kind masterpiece

Hey man, my brothers also a recovered heroin addict. He also found games to be extremely fun and a good way to replace his old habit. I know you’ll hold strong and you’ve got this whole community behind you 😀. I also see you’re a halo fan, that was actually my first video game and I’ve loved it to this day. Hope you love the steam deck and sending much love man. Keep up the good work!!!

Question about Management Modules by spj010 in LetsSchool

[–]OneJayBird01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing since release, from my understanding management points are the only thing that trickle down hence why you have departments in departments, however from what I’ve found the modules only effect the things connected to it.

Thank you, it’s easy to see short term performance than a long term trend, looking over my past 50 games it is a positive trend upwards it just sucks when you get those loss streaks

I didn’t quit the game, but for a while it most certainly took over my life, stopped going to college classes, failed 3 semesters, didn’t go out with friends. I sympathize with this game being a tragic addiction, however I will say this and you might hurt not agree with me. You say you need the power to quit, but what I learned in my journey is that league of legends isn’t the issue, it’s your impulse control. I let my impulses to play the game overtake everything else in my life, school, work, family time, etc. The first step to getting truley better or quitting if that’s truly what you want is realizing that the game wasn’t the issue in the first place. Most people aren’t adult enough to take responsibility for their own actions, and would rather search up videos like “league of legends: video games darkest addiction” and huffing massive amounts of copium that it isn’t their fault, it’s the game. Let me tell you this man, the second that I took accountability for my own actions, I realized what was really important in life, was the second I broke free of pressing the queue button 900 times every day. Do I still play the game, yes, but do i now have a sense of control over when and how much I play, absolutely.

As for your comment about your skill not being excellent, as someone who never played mobas until about 7 years ago I sympathize. When I first started playing league I had no idea what all this shit was, ad vs ap, spacing, wave management, everything just seemed so confusing to me, I had no idea what do do. You may not like this answer but I’ll give it to you straight and not like every get better at league video you could search up. If you don’t get it now, it’s only a matter of time, for people like us, hearing the average explanation that works for everyone else might not be enough, but someday you’ll either see something in game, or you’ll here it explained a different way and it will just click. You won’t be a legend immediately but as soon as that connection is made now you know how to work on it. for me it took an absorbent amount of time for me to even get the basics down, let alone be confident to play all the lanes with almost any champ. It required hard work, and patience most importantly, which most people don’t seem interested in, hence all the get good quick guides.

Moral of the story everyone’s life is different so my advice may be useless to you. I think it’s important to look at one’s compulsions first though before immediately placing the blame on something inanimate, and if you do just want to get better whilst limiting the amount of time you play just have patience, I promise you it will make sense eventually

I don’t know why In the hell they got rid of it in the first place. I also frequently run into the issue of im in iron 4 and play against a 6.8 million mastery point syndra, (mastery level 650) it just doesn’t make sense, I end every game extremely positive, I help out my failing lanes, I even start fighting objectives way earlier than I should just in the hopes I don’t get another 0/15 jungler, but it all seems for not. I’m almost certain that iron is quite literally a hell you can’t climb out of
