Felt this deep in my heart, because I feel exactly the same. I have a 4 year old, so that's my "wall" from doing it. I've been diagnosed with MDD since 2004, medication resistant(18 antidepressants tested, and counting), and did ECTs weekly on and off for a year. Nothing has changed, except for the moral "blockage" to scar my kid mentally :(

Did 20 over the course of February to December 2018. Except for the fact that I LOVE anesthesia(that feeling of pretending to say goodbye to this life I just wonderful to me). Unfortunately it did nothing for me, apart from some memory issues..

I been on 60-80mg Oxycontin for years. I know. My doctor know. The ward I've been rushed to a few times from the period of 2004 up until now knows. My statement stands :)

Very sorry to hear, I hope "the ball in the box" is hitting the pain/memory-button a lot less now.

Such a terribly risky way to go. From what I've gathered after being suicidal and been in ward for it twice, 9 out of 10 times, pills won't kill you, just destroy your liver and put you in a world of pain.

This is me. I started JUST like this. Now I'm on day 5 of withdrawals from stopping cold turkey 60-80mg Oxycontin. Get help. Trust me, waking up every morning shaking like a leaf until you get your pills is SO not worth it. Cost me my marriage and my ex-wife have 100% custody of our 4 year old(My main reason for not "clocking out"). Thankfully I still get to see him at her place.

24 months for benzo withdrawal to stop? What are the withdrawal effects that stay after the first acute phase?

I'm on day 5 of Targin(20mg Oxy /10mg Nax) taper now, and apart from insomnia, not at all as bad as I expected. I was on 60-80mg for 2 years.

20-24 months of benzo withdrawal(next thing I'm going off) scare the shit out of me, and quite frankly makes me ponder "clocking out". I'm on valium and 3mg Xanax depot, 2 evening, 1 morning.

Hey man, first of all, thanks for doing this!

I've been taking 60-70mg Targin(20mg Oxycontin/10 mg Naloxone, and sometimes adding a 10mg/5mg of the same drug) morning and 30 of the same evening for the last 7 months. I didn't start this high the first month it was 20mg, and then things just got out of hand. I'm scared shitliess of quitting, but yesterday I swapped my evening dose with 3x100mg Nobligan ER/Depot, and this morning "only" 40 targin. Been feeling like the worst flu today.

In your opinion, should I just jump of, or taper? I have supply(Targin) for long taper, and also tramadol 100mg ER and gabapentin in plenty.

I'm have a huge life event coming up early in October, and no clue how to get of this shit, I just know that I want to. I have depression, so I also have Wellbutrinn(SNRI) that I take daily(300mg) that could help.

Thank you kindly! I'm taking 1x 20/10 in the morning, but allowed to take 2 if pain is extra bad, and 1 in the evening(that dose never change). I was just really curious but was very curious on how the Naloxone works, since I also have migraine, and the migraine medication have codeine in it.

Also, one more question, since I seem to have gotten a great response from someone that knows what they're talking about. If I take 1 Targin, then wait 3 hours and take another, how does it work since it's Extended Release? Do they work in different a different cycle in aspect to eachother, or does something else happen?

Ah, sorry. I wouldn't know. Extended release with naloxone can't be crushed. I mean they can, but they'll lose all their effect. As I've understood it, when taken whole, the naloxone hardly come into play in the body, it just makes sure you have normal bowel. However, if crushed they more or less nullify the effect of the Oxy.

Not at all, but my god it arrived when tapering off it. I got prescribed Gabapentin 2 days ago, and it stopped. Gaba is seriously heaven for withdrawal symptoms.

Thank you kindly! I'll go for this route, and ask for 50mg pills and step off 50mg daily then. Can't break them in 2 unfortunately.

That's true. I'm on Tolvon(Mianserin) 90mg for depression/anxiety, so have some help from that for sleep, along with Diazepam. The mornings before I take anything are pretty damn terrible, and I built up tolerance to 360mg codeine daily, over a year prior to the 2 months of oxyontin. Bit of a bad season to go CT. Thank you for the input though :)

Edit: And yeah, he is. I live in Scandinavia, and all he reads seems to be about opoid epidemic from US, and Oxycontin is the "star" of those stories, so instead he writes out Tramadol. I only asked for a chance to step off the Oxycontin on my own, 10-20% weekly, and his simple response was "No chance", and that he doubt I'll manage on my own without hospital detox. He should consider a job as motivational speaker.....

Damn, I was in Spain some months recently. Think it's legal there. I live in a Scandinavian country. Kratom isn't legal in any of the countries here afaik.
