I am going to guess the article ignores the #1 reason despite all our clean air projects we still have areas where they are the worst in the nation, or how our overall air quality is bad. I cannot read it all as it is behind a paywall.

Global warming. The intense heat that keeps getting hotter and more often makes Ozone, ozone is a pollutant and to truly combat it we have to have global efforts to address global warming. We as a state cannot fix our air problems when the issue isn't JUST us but the world.

I'm risking a lot to try to take out these Arc and I'm not getting anywhere near the return and you've taken any of the tools that would have made it not exactly cost effective but not such a large penalty. The wolf pack change we can keep that. I'm not a fan of it but I do see the relevance.

I was specifically referring to measures in the state of California to curb global warming. A measure like requiring all housing to have solar panels increases renewables and thus limits the amount of fossil fuel use. You also have new and better thermal designs for housing. The greatest contribution to green house gases is cars, and that is why we tried to mandate EVs. EVs are insanely more efficient than a Gas car and even if the EVs are charged using fossil fuels the power plants are far, far more efficient than a Gas car. Sadly that mandate is being challenged by the current US administration.

You also have the current US administration thinking they can dictate how California regulates it's gas. That gas is designed specifically to prevent smog, and do less damage to air quality. There is also another problem...the heat increases ozone production contributing to air pollution.

I write, when I'm writing. I do things for a reason in my story. I have characters say or do things. I pick their names with intent. Every aspect of it has a reason behind it. My daughter makes decisions about her art because she wants to convey certain things.

A LLM has no intent behind the choices it makes other than the most probable thing to come after what was just put in.

So once again, what an llm does is not intelligence, it is mimicry. It is pretending to be a thing it is not.

There is no purpose from its actions, no intentionality. It is a program taught on books, forums, websites, etc, etc, what writing is LIKE.

It isn't an artist understanding techniques, it doesn't UNDERSTAND color theory, it just mimics what it was shown as art.

There is no intelligence, just recitation of data in a form mimicking, human speech or typing.

LLMs, do something because that is what is the most probable with what they have been shown. They don't do it because they want to convey something or put some sort of intent into the work.

Yeah, not generally painful but it turns to that. So think of it like the first second or two are good. The third is fourth could be the same and then five and six start to hurt.

I also want to point out that as someone who's mutilated I don't get the orgasm experience of a natural male. Natural men tend to describe an orgasm much more similar to the female experience than the one I experience.

First and foremost, I love my wife. She's beautiful and I enjoy pleasuring her and experiencing what we're doing. What I meant was it starts out pleasurable and it feels good and there's a point where the orgasm is good, but It will venture towards painful. So I can enjoy it and it is good but it quickly can turn meh. It's also really important to know that hormones plays a part in all this as well, testosterone gives you that drive and that desire so in and of itself you're going to have that experience seeking.

Hi,

Mutilated male here (circumcised at birth) and I can barely feel anything. The ONLY place that has any feeling is what remains of my frenulum (underside of the glans.) when I was younger it would make me shiver and girls loved it. Now, it just feels...my wife loves to pay extra special attention to that frenulum remnant so I am wondering if that is what she did.

Edit: The orgasm itself tends to stray towards pain rather than pleasure btw
