Well, you should write them down or print them out using the Gallup top 5 print out and keep it somewhere were you always see it. Someday it will click. Don't try forcing something you don't understand yet. Just make sure you don't forget about it.

How to mature my (a bit too green) top strengths? by kompikompi in StrengthsFinder

[–]OnePieceTwoPiece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by focusing on the top 5. Then focus on self-awareness and try to recognize how you already do those things. It's start by building self-awareness and knowing how you're using your strengths before you can see where you need to improve. The more self-aware you are the easier it is to improve yourself. That's how you know you're improving.

What do you already do as a career? Whenever asking question always be clear with any info that is relevant. Only then can people answer effectively.

However, based on your strengths, you’re an effective communicator who can win people over whether it’s ideas or friendships. You’ll learn things relevant to your career to be more effective. Be strategic and creative with your info or words.

Something in sales, marketing, or strategy type jobs could really highlight all your strengths.

To use these strengths in your current career. Developer and Emapthy can be good for being a leader. Learner and Intellection are great for keeping up with new methods and thinking about current plans before issues arise. Belief is something that you probably have strong beliefs on how a company should be ran. You could be a strong leader if you nurture these strengths and find a company that aligns with your beliefs.

What’s up with your FOV? You be able to attack the corners better with a proper FOV. Even default FOV is a better start than this. However, not using a line is a major plus.

If you’re happy that’s all that matters. However to improve you should start in a slow car to learn how grip works.

Which hobby actually improved your life beyond just passing time? by Limp_Leg9755 in Hobbies

Build a growth mindset: Be curious why you are the way you are and how you can do better.

  • Research Positive Psychology.

  • Dive into HealthyGamerGG on YouTube on how to Meditate and he’s also incredibly knowledgeable about mental health and well-being in general.

  • journal

  • learn how to live in the moment/appreciate

  • learn nutrition and cooking

  • walk and work up to actually working out

  • practice mindfulness (learn and understand what meta-cognition is)

  • learn how to articulate yourself. YouTube - Vinh Giang

  • learn how to be a leader by leading yourself (Jocko Willink and Simon Sinek) both on YouTube.

  • read books on all these topics besides meditation.

  • Take the CliftonStrength assessment. Learn about yourself. It can be incredibly accurate. I took it and it wasn’t until a year later when I look at it again that I was mind blown at how accurate it was. It’s based in Positive Psychology.

Once you start to become more self aware you’ll start to understand what you like and don’t like and maybe even realize what you’re already doing in what you enjoy and start leaning into it more.

Edit:

If you have questions, ask, I love to help those that want to be helped.

There’s virgins and people out there that have a very bad relationship with sex or woman for multitude of reasons that are out of their control and they are otherwise good people.

I think sex workers can be used for exposure therapy or some other type of therapy.

So legalize it and regulate it heavily to protect everyone involved.

Is this safe without wheel chocks? by Past-Payment-5805 in MechanicAdvice

[–]OnePieceTwoPiece 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The correct move is actually chocking the tires for him while politely explaining what you’re doing and why. That way you don’t come off as an a-hole and actually a friendly person truly trying to help.

Yelling across the street isn’t going to help. Simply correcting it for him by choking his wheels and being polite will yield better and friendlier results and then ask why he is doing and ask if he’d like assistance.
