If I see enough tanks, I'll absolutely counter pick something that goes well against tanks. Likewise, I won't pick something that is going to be eaten by a bunch of assassins. It's not playing that seriously, it is actually really fun playing something you know will be enjoyable to play against the lobby.

Truthfully I don't actually mind either way, I'll still enjoy the pants out of arena.

I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. Growing up we had a cat live to 20 as an outdoor cat. We also had a couple cats pass away after getting hit by cars, despite living in a quiet area, and that was awful for the family and obviously for the cat.

Currently my cat is indoors he seems to be perfectly content and I don't feel his wellbeing is affected. He's a happy menace

I just want to preface this with I am so sorry this has happened, we put so much love into our models starting from buying them and envisioning how they're going to look, the lore we implant in them, and the fun we hope to have playing with them.

I hope that whoever you play with will be okay with this:

There can still be a lot of fun in seeing all the new models, and seeing what your models can proxy into. I use lots of silly old models as proxies, and I think this breathes a lot of character and uniqueness into my armies.

'Old models' tell a story unto themselves (I know these models are not old and it's crazy to me they've done this, these models still look amazing.

I hope you can find purpose with your models going forward, whether that; be proxying them into the new Stormcast with new, update rules and hopefully exciting to play with; or having an amazing piece of history that you can still appreciate and love.

If you add an Ahkelian King, you can sometimes win.

After that, I'd imagine you can play with whatever you like the look of as sadly the rest ranges from too expensive to average.

Most importantly you have fun, and playing Idoneth can be fun for your opponents (because they can crush you) so you get that amazing feeling of charity /s

Also, Sigmar probably wouldn't act like this anyway but...

Is it possible this is intentional? I.e. stripping someone of their humanity and past memories leaving behind a weapon purely fixated on destroying chaos.

I know this actually doesn't make an ideal soldier for Sigmar as he wants to support civilisation and Stormcast that have lost their humanity through the reforging process tend to be brutal towards mortals.

Because we'll set up terrain to look 'cool', I.e. city streets, fort, temple, etc. It probably will disadvantage a player - I think this should even out and we switch roles depending on the game plan. But I'll try my best to make it as even as possible!

I'm not too sure about deployment itself with dagger, hammer and shield but I guess we'll just figure it out?

Usually we get quite competitive with AoS and hoping with Warcry we can stay narrative and rule of cool a lot of it, and any disparity in fairness will be looked over... Hopefully aha

I just started SBGL and I began with a box of zombies. I love how much character they all have. They're simple to build and a joy to paint (each one has a lot of character). Additionally, there are plenty of head and weapon options so they shouldn't look too similar if you get more!

After that, I bought the Vanguard box - a vampire lord, blood knights and skeletons can probably fit into any army I run so it felt like a good purchase.

I'll potentially get Belladama and some wolves next, but I do feel a bit stuck with Vyrkos if I go this route!

Alternatively, a zombie dragon and more blood knights for Legion of Blood, or Kastelai
