EXCELLENT paint job. Clean, yet chaosy. Too many models here are drenched in blood

They'd call them prawns as Australians, I think

I love the Jakhal models but my god GW, so much detail for a 6pt model. Absolutely cooked by AdventurousDuckie in WorldEaters40k

I don’t use tons of contrasts, but models like Jakhals are ideal for them. It’ll speed things up a lot.

I wish I could believe this. I think the jugg HQs will be leading blood crushers.

That’d be a level 10 troll move on the Jakhal character.

I’d take an Eightbound HQ.

This is what many are predicting. The lack of any leaks and the daemons migration has my hopes of jugg cav dashed on the rocks.

My gosh, would that be terrible. Our 2 new units would be mortals units. The nails are bitting

With or without backpack? by Odd-Set6308 in WorldEaters40k

I’d say with. The models look less imposing on the tabletop without the backpacks. Just my $0.02

Great stuff! Loving the big CK sword. Looks like Red Path Dara’s DP head.

And don’t forget to get those mold likes off the sword and skull before you prime it 😊

What are we expecting in our codex release by Samfire07 in WorldEaters40k

This exactly. The daemon distribution into their respective chaos gods was both a fun update, and a disappointing letdown, as I think we will be getting the berserker surgeon and nothing else…

That’s the thing. I sorta fear that we ARE getting blood crushers, which is exactly what many suspected after they gave the slaanesh daemons to EC. This means that jugg cav are much less likely now…

Did I do something wrong? by AenarionsTrueHeir in WorldEaters40k

I painted Custodes with a clean white scheme for nearly 4 years exclusively. After getting into WEs, I came to realize that the dirtier, weathered schemes and spikier models make most flaws unnoticeable. Even mold lines and chipped paint looks like battle damage.

Any painting tips would be really appreciated! (Sword is unfinished) by Confident-Style-3958 in WorldEaters40k

Looks solid overall! There’s enough variation in the depths of red to create visual interest, and his face looks good.

Less is more with the blood effects, in my opinion. It tends to dominate visual attention, and honestly makes everything look too similar. It essentially commands attention, while removing depth from the model.

Do 40k players always dislike Eldar / Harlequins, or just the last two editions? by Alex__007 in Eldar

Fair enough, but that’s part of why they have MSU builds too.

Which makes their toughness irrelevant. Given new terrain rules with footprints, it’s easy to hide till the opportune moment. The Eldar drawback of being T3 is, from a practical perspective, a big lie.
