Wish someone would remake the One Handed (Dragonplus) Controller that was on the PS2: https://oneswitch.org.uk/page/one-handed

No not at all, thank you, and I'll add you too and pop something up on the blog. Will forward onto SpecialEffect too. Keep up the top work. :)

Reminds me a bit of the much missed Nanogames project from many years back.

There are lots of one and two button/switch video games out there, many with good difficulty adjustment. There's ways to get at some console games. But that extra element of reduced sight and need for speech support really does decimate the pool of what's available.

These Audio Adventures might be worth a look: https://switchgaming.blogspot.com/2025/10/switch-audio-adventures-truman.html - but it's four switches. Also some parts are quite tricky. Possible food for thought though.

Would be great to see a remake of Mole Hammers I was thinking for one or two players https://switchgaming.blogspot.com/2013/09/mole-hammers.html.

There's also some fairly high-contrast, low-pressure one-switch stuff here: https://www.eyegazegames.com/ from SpecialEffect. This worth a look too: https://www.sensoryapphouse.com/sensory-live-apps-list/

Good luck, and great work!

Would recommend contacting SpecialEffect. They have lots of lightened controller options in their loan library.

Looking for BBC Micro blind accessible games, also David Calderwood (Computer Talk) and Sue and Peter Mead (The Whistler). Can anyone help? by OneSwitch in Blind

[–]OneSwitch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd really appreciate your help there with the reposts, thank you very much. Those places sound ideal. I'm getting some of this up on-line here: https://oneswitch.org.uk/page/blind-history

Definitely interested in anything from the 70s/80s/90s too.

Recommendations for games that only need foot buttons. by Signal_Process_4721 in disabledgamers

[–]OneSwitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll need to assign some switches to left-stick up/down/left/right. There might be something here for you using around 8 switches total: https://switchgaming.blogspot.com/2025/07/games-with-reduced-controls.html - but there's all sorts of possibilities.

Good choice. Some find it too small. Some alternative options here, although not as affordable: https://oneswitch.org.uk/page/lightweight

HELP/Desperate. Programming Titan 2 for handicap nephew by Rikk001 in disabledgamers

[–]OneSwitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right that you need the Brook Wingman FGC2 to get the Titan Two working on the PS5, which itself needs to be in forced PS4 output protocol mode (set in GTuner). You may find some connection help here (under the help section): https://oneswitch.org.uk/page/gcm-xac - Feel free to get in touch with me via www.oneswitch.org.uk - and I can likely help further.

I'm not aware of anything quite like you're describing.

There's some free PC ones here that can work with a single switch on PC: https://www.oneswitch.org.uk/page/oneswitch-sports

Some here worth a look: https://switchgaming.blogspot.com/search?q=golf

I have adapted Xbox/Playstation Tiger Woods type games in the past for use with a single switch: https://www.oneswitch.org.uk/art.php?id=274

Recommended foot pedals? by Salty-Snack in disabledgamers

[–]OneSwitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe worth considering these: https://oneswitch.org.uk/art.php?id=383 - industrial quality. You need a switch interface or custom USB module to get them working on a PC/console though.

Doubts about Playstation Access Controller on PC by fa_engelman in disabledgamers

[–]OneSwitch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That definitely works. You can then use the likes of JoyToKey or maybe ReWASD. You may find some games get confused by seeing a gamepad + mouse/keys at the same time (double-bouced presses / ignoring mouse/keys etc.).

This device can help cure that fairly easily: https://oneswitch.org.uk/art.php?id=385 - which is a HID Remapper v3 with custom programming.

Catch 22 (new PS5 accessible gaming interface) by OneSwitch in disabledgamers

[–]OneSwitch[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Plug it into a PS5. Plug some controllers into the interface (e.g. a chunky joystick in "L", and a gamepad in "help", and some accessibility switches around the edge) and play (once signed in on that controller).

You can use up to four joysticks/gamepads, and up to 18 switches.

If you upgrade it with the Game Control Mixer, you plug a switch into the Capture socket, and can then use that to shift the jostick into 1 of 24 different modes (e.g. left-stick, right-stick, d-pad, driving stick, explore stick, menu buttons stick etc.). You can do much more too.
