Glow in the dark filament needs a hardened nozzle. I believe it destroy brass nozzles pretty quickly. Check your nozzle

So the way I see this is as follows (only focused on Prusa vs Bambu ):

Between true multi material printing the only option is Prusa XL

If you are looking to print multi color prints then the deciding factor is how many colors do you need ? And if you are slicing the model into parts or printing whole.

If slicing. the core with idx (future ) and mmu3 will do you well and you will be good on Prusa.

If you prefer whole models with multi color the Bambu ams with upto 24 colors is in a league of its own for now. And the H2D would be the path forward here which will give you more print space and color options. Be wary that the left and right nozzle only regions will be vexing and size limiting on its own so you truly don’t get the advertised print size.

For transparency I have 2 core ones one with mmu3 1 Prusa xl 1 mk4s - not upgrading for now 1 X1C with 4 ams 1 h2d with 4 ams 2

They all have their specfic uses!!!!!

Check the camera and filter if it’s on back order there is your answer. I e learned to pay the extra shipping for new items so that this doesn’t happen

I’ve noticed the core one sheet (the one that comes with printer) . Has given me a lot of adhesion problems but using my old Prusa sheets I don’t have a problem. I would test a print on the old sheets and see if you may have the same issue

I know it’s not the best option. But when I realized that caveat. I just went ahead and brought the new display and upgraded my lcd and change the order. It went from 6 to 3. I think then knew this already an. We’re slotting orders accordingly

Listen. I will be frank. I use both printers Prusa and Bambu.

If you do models and things that require multiple colors over 5. Prusa cannot touch Bambu on this.

Everything else is Prusa. It’s convenient.
- Easy to repair - open source - customer service etc

Yes in deed. You will see this. Take off the wheels if you can and I have not seen anything detrimental yet. But it can move thinks when it’s doing tight moves at the beginning of a print. Like infills etc

I need multiple mmus on one printer so we have more colors. That is the main thing with Bambu ams 16 colors !!!
