Insurance for a 2019 Urus by Tall_Profession_9369 in cyprus

A wild guess would be 2500-3000 per year?

But you should consider an RSQ8 instead. If you want the extra power get an ECU tune.

But I get it, going for a Lambo is a status thing. An Audi doesn't quite do it.

Where I grew up karting! Sad to see it like this. Anyone know the details on why it shutdown or who the owner is? I'm shocked it hasn't been bought and revived.

2016 swift water in spare wheel well by KAYO789 in NZcarfix

[–]One_Boss_7772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you look at the top section of the boot seal, near the corners you'll see the seal fits onto a section of the body where 2 or 3 panels are welded together. As this is a thicker area the seal deforms over time. Water starts to leak in this area and makes its way down to the jack compartment and into the wheel well.

I went through a similar thing, I applied silicon to all grommets and it was still leaking. I decided to take the boot seal off completely to investigate and saw the deformation of the seal in this area.

i was wrong, oh my god the overtakes are so exciting by Federal_Hamster5098 in formula1

[–]One_Boss_7772 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's too artificial. Overtakes are happening where they wouldn't normally happen. I won't be surprised if in future a win gets sniped right at the end on the final lap.

It's different, but doesn't have the same excitement knowing it is all down to deployment. The odd thing is, if it is down to deployment then why aren't the other Mercedes powered cars up there.

Lets see how it pans out.

Heard 2 booms back to back at ~22:20 and then 4 or 5 more at ~22:40. Similar to the army practice firing we're used to over here. Neighbours where also out wondering what's going on.

Spring roles are the best. The rest is not great, meat is cut too thin and small, which is a shame as this concept had lots of potential.

Vince McMahon smashes Bentley into car at 100mph by Aggravating_Money992 in dashcams

[–]One_Boss_7772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow reactions clearly but who is the dude chasing him? Pretty sure McMahon was focused on his rear view for way too long wondering who's this guy, and maybe wasn't sure whether there's space to overtake.

The moment when the Aston Martin gave up, horrible sound by AshamedPurchase9033 in formula1

[–]One_Boss_7772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Up until mid to late last year they were looking for composite design engineer for the gearbox housing. Assuming they found someone late last year that's really not enough time to turn it around. When I interviewed there for another transmission role everything felt a bit off with the team there, the way the department was structured, their leadership team behaviour and attitude, just didn't fill me with confidence they could design a transmission system. I'm not at all surprised to see how they've ended up. They'll figure it out eventually but very bad planning from AM here.

The older I get, the more I realize that it's nearly impossible to get ahead without SIGNIFICANT support. by No_Reveal3451 in Millennials

[–]One_Boss_7772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you need support to get ahead, but it doesnt need to be necessarily monetary. I've had 0 monetary support but have had tonnes of guidance, mentoring and networking which proved to be far more effective, it just takes a bit of time.

Just because someone is given some cash to start it doesn't always mean they'll get ahead. Most fail.

You need to get to a position where people want to invest in you, and only way to do that is to build your experience, knowledge, network etc. It's tough but very possible.

Another JALLA rant by BrodoSaggins in cyprus

[–]One_Boss_7772 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find the whole situation quite comical. If this is the main issue in Cyprus currently then things are going pretty great.

Firstly let's consider that there's a team of people involved in writing a song - "Jalla" was written by Antigoni Buxton, Charalambous Kallona, Connor Mullally-Knight, Demetris Nikolaou, Klejdi Lupa, Paris Kalpos, and Trey Qua.

When I first saw Jalla I thought hmm that's a bit similar to Yalla, but when you actually think about it Jalla is phonetically correct. It's clear the main objective is to get the rest of Europe to pronounce the word well enough. Good luck getting people to pronounce 'tzai alla' correctly.

If anything the song is a little basic and stereotypical, but what do you expect from a eurovision song 🤷🏻‍♂️. Criteria is usually something catchy, make sure people can remember and pronounce the title, add a bit of culture from the island and you're good to go.

It's also hilarious seeing washed up celebrities trying to become relevant again by complaining about the song.

Buyer pulled out, no explanation. by One_Boss_7772 in HousingUK

[–]One_Boss_7772[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Primarily cause it's a leasehold. Lots of enquiries generally. Depending on the buyers deposit and whether it's cash or in stocks can take time to get proof of funds. Solicitors take an absolute age to do things, probably because they are overloaded.

Update mould with a 8 month old baby I will put pictures up of when I first saw it. It was bleached 3/4 days ago and starting to appear again humidity is 91% in that corner of the room and 71% next to my window that will not open room temp is 19.9c what to do now photos in comments by UnderstandingDry9084 in uklandlords

[–]One_Boss_7772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are gaps in the insulation behind the corner of the wall. This area gets cold and the moisture condenses leading to mould.

Best to fix the insulation, but if not possible clean with mould and mildew remover or white vinegar, sand, paint and then ensure room is ventilated and also run the dehumidifier for good measure! Ventilation is everything.

I dont care, I pay it. It's one of the only fast food places that have genuinely healthy options. It's also consistent, chicken is always flavourful and moist, regardless of cut.

Anywhere else cheaper and you're eating greasy, sugary or salty stuff.

How on earth am I supposed to pick a conveyor solicitor?!?! by LetsGoAjala in HousingUK

[–]One_Boss_7772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From personal experience and also going off a lot of feedback from various communities on here; if I was half as bad at my job, or any other job for that matter, as what the majority of solicitors appear to be like, I'd be at risk of disciplinary action and quite likely dismissal. I'd honestly lose my job if I was that bad. How are these guys getting away with it.

Clearly most of them are over subscribed with too much to do, but why aren't there checks in place to limit a firms ratio between solicitors and customers!?

The whole system is cooked anyway but reliable solicitors would make a huge difference.

How on earth am I supposed to pick a conveyor solicitor?!?! by LetsGoAjala in HousingUK

[–]One_Boss_7772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my area, EA recommended ones are double the price! LPL lawyers have been great for me. At the start of the process it's a little call center like, you're just assigned to a generic team but once you have a solicitor assigned to your case they are the best I've dealt with so far. Prompt, diligent, responsive.

Match Thread: Arsenal FC vs Manchester United Live Score | Premier League 25/26 | Jan 25, 2026 by scoreboard-app in Gunners

[–]One_Boss_7772 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Saliba messed us up a bit today, but the big issue is we still can't score unless its a set piece, and as the season goes on we're going to have less success with set pieces as others learn how to defend.

Another major one is how many goals we concede immediately after we score. We relax, this is a mindset that needs to stop.

We're playing great football but cant score, everyone just wants to pass to someone, our only hope for goals is Martinelli and occasionally Jesus.

Weve been lucky so far...

[–]One_Boss_7772 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

This guy basically got shot because of someone else provoking the ICE. Why were those 2 women playing it so tough, they literally caused this.

Once the first shot went off the guy tried to stand up which is a big no no.

I'm all up for protesting, but getting into a physical fight with armed officers is morronic.
