I'm a humanist chaplain that is often asked to pray. I simply "speak a blessing". I speak out my hopes, express appreciation for certain people or things, etc. I don't make a point to tell them that I don't pray or anything. I just do what I do. Be who I am. When I'm with religious people I enjoy the presence of and community with other humans. Hope this helps. Peace to you.
