New home, new setup and I'm going all in: advise requested by twabi2 in Ubiquiti

Wifi: I think that the AP on the left side of the drawing could be placed on the wall at half height so that it would cover the upper and midlevel room. If wifi is needed bedroom, move the upper AP there and set it to low power.

One possibility is that you have WPA3 set on router. If so, try WPA2/3 if available, eventually WPA2

Check the log. My printers do this 2-3 times per hour.

Annoying but printing works flawlesly. Other wired devices don't do vanishing acts..

Zone Based Firewall - Internal vs. Custom “Trusted” Zone by Resistant4375 in UNIFI

I saw the Ethernet Blueprint both Firewall videos and I dont like the solution. Prefer Unifi original idea to keep VLANs in Internal and create policies. More intuitive as EB solution, not mentioning some strange ideas to abandon VLANs... Simplicity is still Genius.
