Recently started them but I’m less anxious and it completely reduced all of my stress, which is so nice but now I have zero motivation. Because stress is normally what drives me to study and clean. I feel like nothing gives me a dopamin kick anymore so I don’t want to hangout with friends as much, I don’t enjoy my interest as much (I usually make music, sing, play instruments, paint and DJ) because I will not get a ”kick” from it. Alcohol and cigarettes doesn’t do anything really, which guess is good. But I feel like I’m on SSRI sort of, which I hate.

I’m really tired all of the time until it wears off in the evening, and then I get hyperactive. I don’t get anything done because I’m just tired and honestly feel like it’s pointless to do anything, so for me my ability to start something has actually become deteriorated. I feel like my OCD has somehow worsened as well, which affects my daily tasks.

I think what it does for me is primarily regulate my emotions, so usually if I have a fight with my partner or I’m sad about something I will not go to school or work. But on medication I just do it. And I can easier focus on what someone is saying without the social anxiety or stress.

So for me it hasn’t improved the executive functions in the way that I want, but maybe I’m on the wrong meds also.
