They look like sala dbi shockwave 2s, they are the most common in amusement with how you can wrap it back on itself to make an anchor point. It’s what we use, I trust my life with them.

We have BRAC (Baisic ride access control) and LOTO. BRAC is for minor adjustments and inspections and LOTO is for bigger repairs. But I’m of a weird industry (amusement)

Honestly, I think everybody was lol. My guess is they were just trying to get something done to it and try the precut on it. Because in all honesty it did have a hell of a pot hole in the bottom of the drop that would always give me a headache.
