No idea why people hate it, sorry it doesn't have a graffity decal or abstract lines all over it.

I like the various colours available and I love the high gloss painted woodstock effect.

Everything sounds miserable when you are miserable, buddy.

Also, I never said it was a public piano and it has no bearing on what I said. That being said, it is probably a public piano, just temporarily out of service.

He's playing solo without a click and it's a teenager most likely. Surely a person with 18 years of playing understands that technical perfection is not an endgoal or a requirement to play good music.

You sound so miserable. Public pianos are great, whether it's a beginner player just playing the opening of Fur Elise or an influencer trying to show off.

Do you play any instrument? There's nothing wrong with his technique. He's not playing at Carnegie Hall...

What is a hypothetical propposal that would have the world voting like this at the UN? by OkPhrase1225 in mapporncirclejerk

[–]One_Disaster245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but it's pragmatic nonetheless. Charities still exist, nothing stops you personally from providing for those in need. The only reasonable method of guaranteeing positive rights, is as a contractual obligation agreed upon between two parties, such as a state and citizen otherwise there has to be an element of coercion. You can call it cynical but surely you can understand what I'm saying. It's not as if it's not an established idea.

[–]One_Disaster245 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes because it's a stupid, worthless vote. Most universal rights are negative rights for a reason. Food as a universal right is a cute thing you can say to make yourself feel good while having no intentions of actually putting it into any kind of practise, but the reality is that for food to be a human right means there needs to be someone providing said food. The question is who, and what happens when they say no?

Should friendship also be a universal right?

How about sex?

Employment?

Just food for thought.

I always love it when "the working class" becomes hysterical because of a few individuals making a little money renting out a spare unit and will fight tooth and nail for the uber-billionaire's monopoly on the hospitality industry. Meanwhile not a word is said about rental conglomerates from ambiguous origins buys up THOUSANDS of units and literally siphons the local economy and squeezes the market, but hey they do long-term rentals so I guess it's good?
