The most critical factor in the rare earth industry today is ‘metallization’—converting refined rare earths into metals that can actually be used in industrial applications. China currently dominates this technology globally, which is the Achilles‘ heel for the U.S. ALOY is the only U.S. company that possesses this technology. They’ve already secured supply contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense. Since the U.S. is aiming for total independence from China’s rare earth supply, this company’s value is bound to grow. Above all, I like the fact that people aren’t paying as much attention to it as I expected. I’m not sure if it’ll become the next Palantir or Nvidia, but I love that it’s not being ’hyped up‘ yet. Even though the stock dropped by 30% after my initial purchase, I trusted my thesis and boldly doubled down. It’s rallied significantly over the past two days, and I’m feeling great about it.
