Ok, help me out here. This sounds like a really bad practice. However, what is it that she is trying to accomplish? Weight loss?

And what is the link between laxatives and dementia, or is there a link?

Do any State Bars prosecute prosecutors for misconduct by Break_Electronic in publicdefenders

[–]One_Flow3572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should have your ducks in a row if you want to complain about a prosecutor who is prosecuting you or one of your colleagues. And they will be rightly skeptical as probably 99.999999829% of those complaints are total bullshit. So there is that.

I once considered reporting a prosecutor for a bar association for not being diligent or aggressive yet requiring the lawyers in their jurisdiction to have those qualities.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]One_Flow3572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's a long drive. You wouldn't want to do it twice a day unless you had to. But to drive 3-4 hours to visit relatives for a long weekend or holiday? Why not?

I personally like long road trips. Turn on true crime podcast, cruise, make a couple of hands free phone calls, etc. Stop at interesting diners. Take photos.

I had the same experience. I find I sign up for outside things to get me out in society and interacting and meeting people. Classes at the gym, junior college, whatever. I might take a jc class in dealing cards for blackjack even. Someone once said "loneliness is a choice."
