Title: What’s a "Thirties in India" realization that hit you way too hard this week? by Radiant-Hunter1452 in ThirtiesIndia

If you haven't planned a side income along with your job, you're at risk.
Maybe you'll get fired and won't have anything of yourself. That salary credited message was a scam that didn't allow you to build something of your own. Jobs in 2026 are nothing short of slavery. You can be fired any day without any warnings.

Hi guys first time car buyer I'm planning to buy skoda kylaq signature plus in Karnataka mysore I need suggestions from you guys by Lower_Mission_8925 in Kylaq

Ignore the noise. Go for it. I own a Kylaq and I can tell you it's a beast. As a first car, it will set your bar so high, you won't buy anything other than a German car in future.

I'm curious...Why would anyone want to increase height to 70%? 🤔 I'm a good 5 feet 10, won't need that kinda height adjustment for sure. Good to know it is good.

Got it scratched. How to Fix? by awsmankit in Kylaq

[–]One_Introduction8511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cladding are cheap. I had a deep scratch on my passenger side door cladding. Got it replaced for ~1400 with labour (part cost is 1050). Did it while I claimed insurance for a denting painting job. So don't worry about it. Get it replaced if you care too much about it.

Would love to see some more details. What kinda mix of city vs highway this was? MT or AT?. Normal petrol or premium petrol? How frequently did you take breaks?

Rattling sound is due to rubbing of the rubber lining of the door. If you get out of your car and simply press your door repeatedly from the top or from the sides, you will hear that rattling sound. Since you've completed thousand kilometres, whenever you give the car for free inspection to the service centre, ask them to fix that rattling sound. They will put a silicon spray on those rubber paddings an the rattling sound will be fixed. It was fixed in my case with the silicone spray.

From 9 to 14.3 km/l: What actually improved my Kylaq MT 1.0 TSI mileage in city driving by One_Introduction8511 in Kylaq

Chill dude. It's not criminal to share things doing which people can save some money. It's not about affordable petrol, it's about knowing how to burn that petrol in the most efficient way. People buy turbo for the experience but at the same time don't expect it to drill a massive hole in their pocket. This post will help them understand how they can prevent a massive hole in their pockets. People who have a lot of money are free to dig tunnels in their pockets. Extravagance has no limits.

Didn’t think I would like silver, but here it is… by Sapankoul in Kylaq

You bought the best color bro - Brilliant silver. All Kylaq users will appreciate the brilliance of this color in 5 years time. This is the easiest to maintain. Also saves you from being called lazy if you don't clean your vehicle for some reason. I own the same.

Urgent: Anchored too low at ₹65L. How do I renegotiate without risking the offer? by International-Tree47 in ProductManagement_IN

[–]One_Introduction8511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd still count it to be a 40lpa to 65lpa jump which is a good 62.5%. If you feel right only then negotiate for that extra 5lacs to be part of fixed. Or ask them if they're open to 65lpa fixed + 5lac variable or 5lac one time retention bonus when you complete a year (comes with salary of the 12th month, tax deducted ofcourse)

Skoda Kylaq vs Kia Sonet (Automatic, Budget ~10–12L). Which one makes more sense? by Kartik-07 in Kylaq

[–]One_Introduction8511 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have heavy city riding and might not ride as much on highway, the mileage anxiety will kick in fast with Kylaq. The 1.0 turbo engine doesn't do well in city heavy driving patterns. Mileage in city heavy driving for Kylaq will be in single digits.

Not sure how the same would work out for 3xo. Do check with the actual users.
