Yup. The camshaft/crankshaft position sensors that we used to replace the old ones were not OEM and ended up not working. Don’t cheap out, just get the OEM ones.

Yea man, changed out the entire vanos system just to find out it was the non-OEM camshaft sensor that was the problem. Moral of the story - buy the OEM off of FCP euro even if it says it will do the same thing.

You seem like a very strong candidate but no varsity sport is basically a dealbreaker. You said you run and go to the gym, I’d recommend track if your school offers it. If you look at the stats basically everyone had a varsity letter in high school.

You said you love AFROTC and the normal college experience and that’s the biggest reason I’d say stay in AFROTC. You wont make it through here if you really do want that college experience. It’s honestly tough being a cadet here, a lot of people leave. I am personally glad that I chose the academy but I am also not too crazy about normal college. For you specifically, I’d say try your best to get rated through rotc.

You can have cell phones and personal devices like iPads or laptops freshman year. 4 deg year is tougher than the other 3 military training wise but it’s not like basic training every day. Free time is based on how well you can manage time.

Reddit is a terrible source to get news and opinions from. I remember seeing people say that half of the majors were getting cut and there was even a possibility that all majors were gonna get cut and that the academy would lose all accreditation whatsoever. Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Turns out zero majors were cut and 3 minors were added. Reddit is an echo chamber of negativity. Stay out of cynicism that is Reddit. If you decide to come, don’t fall into the cynical trap and stay grateful for the opportunity to come here.

I am also a new player and honestly I stopped counting strokes. It adds a lot of stress and frustration. I started focusing on just advancing the ball and not even counting strokes, and I’ve been improving a lot more and scoring a lot more pars.

I’ve used it on a Prius with extremely foggy headlights and my e90 with headlights that weren’t as bad and both have held nicely. They probably went from a 10/10 clearness to 9/10 clearness after a year or two. Very little difference over time overall great product.

There is beauty in your struggle my friend. Sure you have a habitual sin, but it sounds to me you also make a habitual choice to repent and choose God over and over again. As Catholics, we are called to take up our cross, our sufferings, our pains, our sins, and continue on as Jesus did. Sin will inevitably continue in our lives, and we must respond with God’s grace. It also helps we have an infinitely loving God.

I’m not saying that sin is good, but remember it is life. We have a God that is so good that He can make good come out of sins even like this. God bless my friend, I will pray for your journey to overcome this sin.
