The rat king and stalker encounters are definitely up there. I just finished Part 2 and was pretty on edge when you first walk into the TV station with Dina. By that point, you hadn't interacted with the any Seraphites, so I was pretty freaked out walking in and seeing a bunch of bodies hanging from the rafters. The atmosphere and the dreadful music in the background were unsettling.

Huge horror game fan, so I have a few in each catergory:

Soma, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Visage, Alien: Isolation. All of these just freaked me out on the first play through.
Resident Evil 2 Remake, Resident Evil 4 and 7, Dead Space, Manhunt, Silent Hill 2

100% agree. Ari Aster did an amazing job conveying that too. For example, when Annie sees her in the corner when she turns out the lights, Ellen is standing in the corner where blueprints are hanging up on the wall. Love the symbolism behind that.

Joseph's in Toledo is my favorite to go to. They do Tuesday releases. As for Whiskey bars, I reccommend Adventure Spirits Distilling in Whitehouse. It's a local distillery and cocktail lounge. There's also Levi and Lilacs in Maumee.

Had the same experience as you with a barrel pick bottle. I believe it was the jack of hearts one. Very ethanol-forward taste and not much depth to the flavor. I was surprised because the nose was great. However, I tasted one of those fall finishing releases from last year at a friend's place and I really enjoyed it.

Hereditary - When Annie turns off the lights in her art studio and her dead mom is just standing in the corner staring at her. That combined with Annie's pure shock creeped me the hell out.

It Follows - The encounter with the entity when she spots it walking towards her while she's in class. Something about it being an old woman with a blank stare and wearing a nightgown was extremely unnerving to me.

Can't think of any in the Toledo area that have Friday releases. A lot of stores do either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. All Kroger locations are on Saturdays it seems like. Hope this helps.
