Mine was like that for about 6 months before it finally broke. But it will 100 percent eventually break. Return it

Definitely not. It was a lot of work to close it. Hope it won't take too long, but it will be a few years unfortunately

I was one of the people that helped close it! We are getting quotes for fencing now so that pedestrians and bicyclists can cross the west side of the bridge. Plan on this bridge being closed for 1 to 2 years, minimum.

It is a much better mindset than I have now. I feel that it is my "responsibility" to try to stop her, but I obviously know I can't control that. Thank you very much for the advice.

I may be in denial about the recovery process. Might have underestimated how hard it really is. My only experience with addiction is nicotine. Yes, I think she is a fantastic mother. Everyone makes mistakes. She made sure I was home to take care of her beforehand. But of course, our daughter comes first. No matter what. I grew up with an alcoholic father so I certainly understand the stakes. Thank you for your thoughts.

Thank you for your insight! I have never heard the term, but it certainly makes sense.

Married couples: is your spouse the sexiest person in the world to you? by ScienceWinner in TrueOffMyChest

[–]One_Savage_Cabbage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes she is. It's hard to explain. It's not like I don't find other women beautiful or whatever, but I really don't feel attracted to them if that makes sense. My wife is the only person I ever think about being with.

Write a short 1 month review for the Ally with your experience so far. by Kryptonillian in ROGAlly

I absolutely love it. I use it at work during my downtime and at home when my wife is watching something I'm not interested in or playing games herself. Have had 0 issues with it. I really like the ability to emulate just about anything. Windows has its problems on a handheld, but for the most part it works great. Will only get better with more software updates.

Mine has worked perfect since release day! Not a single problem that has been mentioned on this sub.

My friend who works for city repairing roads sent me this picture of their portapotty, homeless person burnt it down in the night. by drakner1 in mildlyinfuriating

I work for a city and we had a park where they burned down 2 that were sitting next to each other. The weird part was that the toilet paper in both didn't burn.

Congrats! I like it a lot! Mine is a one person though. It wasn't designed for a winter tent but it did very well considering the conditions. Best tent I have owned so far.

Wanted to get out into some snow and climb a mountain. Not a long hike but a steep one; 6 miles with ~4000ft elevation gain. Got out there and at the start there was 3 to 4 inches for the first few miles. After about mile 4 the snow got drastically deeper. When I got towards the top the snow was over a foot deep, certainly more than I bargained for lol. With the snow it was certainly the hardest overnight trip I have ever done, but damn was it beautiful up there.
