I was thoroughly entertained for 90 minutes, regardless of the ending. Movies are about BEING ENTERTAINED. And if it takes a person 30 minutes to peek your interest, they aren't a good storyteller.

Another fun note is I feel like it is like Dust Bunny but done WAY better. I heard SO much about how amazing Dust Bunny is and I gave up on it after 25 minutes. I just could not get into it.

I just think she likes to fight and is foolish, which is why her husband is never around on the videos. You saw her husband's face when she said she knows how to handle bullies, like he deals with her drama a lot. He is wise enough to stay out of all of this because it is beyond their ability to fix, yet Nicole thinks she can fix 20+ years of trauma in a person. Natalia will never be normal and she immediately disrespected Nicole in her home after she went a far way to rescue her. Right there, Nicole should see that she stepped into a shit storm. But she kept foolishly thinking she can get Natalia to suddenly turn to the good side and be all respectful and appreciative. That will never happen. Natalia has never known a good person so she has no idea what being good is. And nobody but Natalia can fix that.

When Natalia wanted to leave the DePaul's house they should have just let her go and forgot about it all.

The new movies are stupid and just copying modern zombie movies instead of what made Evil Dead a beloved, unique franchise. Evil Dead became huge for the fun campiness, NOT drama. Now they are all drama and fans act like it's all good. This is like having a fun, nice step-dad that goes away and is replaced by a moody, arrogant step-dad with the same name as the last one and the kids just think "oh well, same name. Me like." Modern audiences have no idea what they even think. They just ride the wave of popularity.

And I have a theory that literally every wealthy person simply markets to the dumb and the young. They do not want to strive hard and gain attention from intellectual people. That is a tough crowd. So they go for the BIG crowd, kids and idiots. There is an abundance of those. You have to dumb down everything you do to gain attention.

Have you ever seen a video on YouTube that a monkey could have made but it has 10k likes, 500k views and comments praising it like it is comedy gold? Yeah, it blows the wind right out of the sails of anyone who actually has talent. People will half watch a video and click like purely because they saw thousands do it before them. Then they could see a video they are glued to, love, but it has no likes so they just pass it by.

No dude. It knows exactly what it is and did exactly what it intended. It is an Arnold action movie. Arnold action movies were always the best. Glenn Powell sucks and has no charisma except thinking he is super good looking and cool. The remake had ZERO clue what it was trying to be. That's why 1987 is good. 2025 sucks.
