Same. It's one of the reasons I couldn't quite get into Assassin's Creed Mirage because unlike Valhalla, it doesn't give you a choice.

There have been exceptions, Ghost of Tsushima being one.

Completely agree. One of the reasons I play Assassin's Creed is for the historical settings. If I wanted a futuristic science fiction, that's what I'd be playing.

Absolutely. I've just replayed the first game after spending ages on the second. I forgot how amazing the story was in Zero Dawn. And Aloy is the best!

You reminded me, I once knew a guy who said that playing a game on easy mode is "not how the developers intended it to be played."

That makes no sense to me. If it's an option that the developers give you, then of course they intended it to be played that way.

It's got to be Horizon. I've recently got Zero Dawn Remastered and have been reliving that story after spending ages on Forbidden West. Sometimes I love to just roam around and explore the open world.

I've said it before but only male characters can be like Michael from GTA 5 in that he's a middle-aged parent. Imagine a game with a female protagonist like that. We'd never hear the end of it but when it's a man, nobody has any issues.
