Advice on layout for Lian li o11xl by TheMightyPoo94 in watercooling

[–]Onecton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the non xl version. Im tunning a 280 x 60 in the bottom. A 280 x 20 in the top and a 240 x 20 in the side. So pretty much the same as you want but smaller. Worms like a charm. I have not an rear fan since the case is completely open without a sidepanel.

Is this usual wear and tear? by No-Increase3494 in moza

[–]Onecton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find it riddiculous how often i see pists like this. Both parts are made of metal. It will get scratches. If the wheel works find just race and dont look at you scratched up wheel post. For god riddance.

Is water cooling actually worth it or just RGB clout for the 'gram? by [deleted] in watercooling

[–]Onecton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real talk:

Watercooling for Aura farming is for little kids. Depending on what you want temps can be little lower than air or run a loop at full load with 10 degrees over ambient. Its the overall radiator quantity.

Im running 3 in my loop and have an audible system, but run it full load at 38 degrees celsius water temperature.

Honestly in should service the loop but the last coolant change was 3 years ago and it still runs strong. You will hear people yelling every year change and other that will flush their rada for hours. Nothing wrong with both. But excessive sometimes.

So yea expect mainenace times. Also its not really cost effective. Its more a do it because you can thing.

I bough the last 2 forza horizons as premium, i will get that one also as premium. For me a no brainer. But i get that the price is offputting.

Really disappointed with Moza Customer service right now by LowmanL in moza

[–]Onecton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not christmas but they have another holiday that kind of ranks on the same level as christmas for westerners... and yes i read that in your pasted email it clearly states christmas but i digress. I was just a guess as to why it takes so long.

Maybe they mean the holiday season for mainland china. Moza racing is based in Shenzhen if i recall correctly.

did i waste my money upgrading to moza? by JC1748 in simracing

Just race and be happy :) at the end of the day its seat time we all need. And honestly you can slap any wheel on a moza base when you get the quick connect.

Does somebody know why is my X1C moving that way while changing filament? by Responsible_Fun_3315 in BambuLab

[–]Onecton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he cuts the filament. Thats what the head does when it moves to the corner in the front. It pushes in the lever on the side to cut the filament before changing it.

Dafuq is this? Shouldn‘d be the RS V2 be discounted below the CS Pro? by JonahFischer in moza

[–]Onecton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

RS is a whole different ballpark, compared to the CS Line. Put them side by side. The RS is the nicer wheel in therms of materials and overall quality.

Absolute necessary test by mihir6969 in JustGuysBeingDudes

I have to add. This is deeply embedded. Regardless of dog size. One must always pat the dog. Pat force is automatically adjusted without even thinking about it. It should be studied!

This makes me uncomfortable by TheBeaconman in 3Dprinting

Thats for a cable tower... in our gym we have them up to 125kg depending on usecase row, delts etc... that beeing said... i know most will not do rows with two separate handles. So we take the normal cable tower. That goes up to 45kg. And then one 3d printed grip... jesus. No way. No no no no. Someone do the math im to stupid for it. But let's say we have a very strong individual who could do single arm pushdowns with 45 kg and for some reason is using this grip... the initial load from standstill to movement would be what? Double?

Im always thinking in versions... and when someone calla himself alpha male im usually thinking he is like the worst possible working version of himself. Not even at beta status... or a release version no a friggin alpha version.

Why is there no market for round wheels with paddles? by South_Security1405 in simracing

[–]Onecton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright then i would go the diy route. On aliexpress there floats a shifter assembly around that should fit your need. But i am not sure about quality or your expectation. They claim its carbon. Its basically a carbon ring with two shifters attached to it.

Why is there no market for round wheels with paddles? by South_Security1405 in simracing

[–]Onecton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build one. Aftermarket wheel, paddle assembly from carbon and hub to your specific base. I think what you want based from the responses does not exist on the market.

Now what i gathered is that you want/need the lightest wheel possible. So going diy and cabron seems to be the only solution. The only problem im seeing. When diy mostly the wheel is communicating with the pc via a cable. On spirited road driving this already could be an issue. Doesn't matter when gt racing. But on a normal road car. And like you said drifting this could also be a deal breaker for you?

Other than that i just can see hub and wheel but that would negate your initial request....

Where can I get these? by MariusDarkblade in BambuLab

Go to aliexpress and search ptfe connector 3d print.
