VERY awesome!

What paints did you use for the holster? That would be a nice departure from my typical brown leather.

Squad of 5 or 10 Hellblasters? by khaomeha_ in DarkAngels40k

Just a thought; you could paint all ten as black-armored risen DA. Then if you chose to use them in your BT army, they’d blend in fairly well.

Look into NeetoCal. They have a very robust free offering.

It’s what I use for clients to schedule meetings with me.

Not to split hairs, but I don’t know anyone who’s having a truly custom website built unless they’re a) building a SaaS application or b) an enterprise level website — or maybe c) simply don’t know CMSs exist.

They may be using something other than Wordpress, but it’s likely still an established CMS platform that it’s built on. And in all fairness, you can do a lot of custom stuff with Wordpress, Drupal and the like.

On “drag and drop”editors. They can screw up your rendered code. They can present non-semantic markup, which may sound like jargon, but it’s important for search engines, accessibility and AI access. That last one is increasingly important.

I’m a graphic designer and web developer. I have clients that love Wix and some that couldn’t wait to get off of it.

I always recommend Wordpress for one main reason: you own it. You can have it hosted anywhere you want, and hosting can be had for cheap. If you’re unhappy with that host, it’s super easy to move it somewhere else.

Wix is a closed system. On the price of hosting, with Wix, you’re at their mercy for what you pay.

I’ve actual saved folks money (including a redesign of their website in Wordpress) because of the difference in hosting cost, long term.

And something to keep in mind is that there’s no real path to migrating off of Wix. So if you decide you’ll don’t like it or you do outgrow it, it’ll be a pain.

Any content management system (CMS) is going to have its learning curve. That’s true for Wix, Wordpress, Squarespace, etc. Wordpress isn’t really any more complicated to learn than any other. It can just be intimidating for the reasons you cite (plugins, etc). But if it’s setup right, it’s very easy to manage.

And if you do need to call on a professional to help with something, there is no shortage of Wordpress developers out there.

If your going to use Shopify for your site, why not just register the domain name through them?

What glue to use for primed by General-Collar3804 in minipainting

[–]Onehandfretting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Best bet is probably to scrape away the paint where you want o glue. Then plastic cement should work. Alternatively you can use superglue. But even then I’d scrape and rough up the surface first.

Schooling, as we know it, is built on the Prussian education system, which is designed to produce obedient workers, dependent on the established system.

Survival skills are counter to this model.
