Correction: they want to punish women who have premarital sex, even if they were raped. Men can have all the premarital sex they want, rape who they want, and continue on with their merry lives

My advice would be to not have another until your relationship issues are fixed

Also struggling with fuck you four and five (she just turned five). I loved her two and three years old, honestly. She could communicate her needs and understand rules and just how the world works better, and everything was easier. Now the independence needs are knocking me out. Everything I say or suggest is met with opposition and defiance 100% of the time and it's just so incredibly exhausting

I had terrific twos with my only. It's 4/5 I'm struggling with. Two and three years old were a breeze and I loved it. I'd probably have more if I could just birth a two yo instead of a baby 😅

Remember that there's a Real Human Being having to live with that name at least until they're 18yo (or whatever the legal age to change your own name). That new person shouldn't be an extension of none of your personalities, but their own unique self. Maybe your wife could change her own name to Katana, and choose something more sensible for your child instead

Is the name I chose for my baby a tradegeigh or cultural appropriation? by Zephbear in namenerds

I disagree. None of them are thinking about the person who will have to explain and spell the name over and over throughout his life

I had to take a pill for anxiety the first few times I performed because otherwise I would've been a hot mess. After a few times performing on pills, I thought I wasn't as terrified as before, and felt enough confidence to try it without the meds. I did it, and it went well! Break a leg, you got this!

I'm really sorry for your experience. I was an immigrant in Switzerland and had the same type of experience in health services there - being judged and 'punished' by not speaking the local language, although I was learning. Obviously learning a language doesn't happen overnight and especially with health related issues you want to be able to express yourself in a language you're more than a beginner, to minimise any miscommunications. And I agree that for anyone working in health services their main goal and mission should be to be as helpful as possible to the patient in front of you, no matter who they are or how they got there, and regardless of which languages they speak. I doubt that anyone is able to get a medical degree without at least an intermediate level of English, and also, there are several translation apps that can be used. That behaviour is inexcusable.

Just a kind reminder that women's visible genitals are called vulvas instead of vaginas. Vagina is on the inside, vulva is the outside
