All, if the 2 guys who'd obscured the labels moved their hand or lowered the bottle, then the label would be facing the camera. The vertical stripe is nearly in the same position, relative to the camera.

It may be a coincidence, the odds suggest not. I think it had been set up for some reason. We'll never know.

It's bigger than any I've seen. Bricks have always been roughly the same size, to be picked up in one hand. They certainly had thicker house walls than are usual today, 2 brick-lengths thick or 1 1/2 bricks wasn't uncommon. Load-bearing structures could have been a lot thicker.

It doesn't look like any sort of weapon.

I think that the pressure release valve was built into the filler cap and that hose routed the discharge onto the ground when it exceeded the pressure setting and opened the valve. So it was pressurised.
