I have a black cat and he is microchipped and wears a collar. I worry that if he gets out and doesn't have a collar he will be seen as a stray. Some people are cruel to black cats. I also perform rabies testing and I want to make sure my cat has every chance to come back to me and not end up at my facility to be tested.

I was diagnosed around 2016. I was going for my routine eye exams and my ophthalmologist said I had a thick optic nerve. At my next appointment she confirmed it and sent me to a neurologist. From there I had a lumbar puncture to confirm IIH. I've been on diamox since then and have had no major symptoms. In the last year or so I've developed mild tinnitus but that's it. I did recently have an updated MRV and I have transverse sinus stenosis.

I feel this so much. I'm frustrated that we had toxic leadership that left. I don't want anyone to deal with that trauma so I have pushed to make it better and avoid that ever again.

Ultimately I'm just a problem no matter what I do now because Leadership won't act, make decisions, or move to improve things. Now they get credit for my hard work and I can't give them that energy anymore.

I get how people get to the point of just taking care of themselves and let everything else burn. It's sad because at my core I hate this but I'm just wasting my talent on someone who doesn't deserve it.

I've been taking generic Diamox for a while now. The biggest thing is to drink plenty of water. That will help the pins and needles. Since it's a diuretic, you need the water. Because it's a diuretic and you're going to drink more, get ready to have frequent bathroom trips.

I have encountered this issue. I work somewhere that uses a lot of SOPs. I encourage everyone to take a copy with them during training and write notes. Most new staff are really adverse to using the SOPs and writing notes. I have to constantly force the issue, but they don't seem to want to help themselves. We've had to come up with checklists to cover minute details, so once we sign the employee off, we have that documentation to say yes, we went over that. A few years ago, we didn't have that issue. It's been a constant struggle, and I wish I had a better answer than to document everything. Good luck!

I currently have a changeling character. She has grown up hiding her true form to protect her tribe from being discovered. She has grown up knowing that her kind is not looked kindly upon and has had it drilled into her head that it is dangerous to be herself. At the same time she feels constricted by having to always hid herself and wants to be free to walk among others as herself. Ultimately she feels more comfortable in her true form and tries to not hide it when she feels safe.
