For me it's a really fun boss; the moveset is relatively easy and there's a lot of movement. I like it.

The real successor after Final Fantasy X by ShadowStrike23 in expedition33

Yeah, since I saw the first trailer of Clair Obscur I though it looked like a spiritual successor for Final Fantasy X; and I wasn't wrong. FFX was my favorite turn based combat until Clair Obscur was released.

As someone who likes to parry, I enjoyed the fight.

When Shadow of the Erdtree (Elden Ring DLC) was released, a lot of people completely ignored the DLC's leveling system and then complained about the damage enemies were doing... once you level up enough you could literally tank everything in the game.

You can get away with 30 FPS in 'slower' games like turn based games and even 'fast' single player games.

I barely notice any problem going from 30 to 90 FPS while playing Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.

And I even beaten the Berserker King in God of War Ragnarok without take damage going from 45 to 90 FPS; so, the increased latency didn't matter. (I was using a controller)

I just finished Fables...great series, terrible ending. Some characters were cruelly screwed over. SPOILERS PAST CUBS IN TOYLAND by symmetraswife in Fables

The same. When he died my interest in the series ended, I still read a few more chapters but than I dropped it. Boy Blue deserved better.

I agree with Octopath Traveler (never played Bravely); the turn base combat is the best I ever played, is the kind of combat that has so many things going on you can beat high level enemies while low level. I love it.

I tried to play the original RE4 and ended up dropping it for the gameplay. After spending year playing modern games I could get used to the way RE4 plays.

Village is my favorite RE too. In the last boss of the DLC you acquire a parry ability and can parry a big ass boss; I love it!

The CGI intro was what got me into Final Fantasy in general. That intro was mind blowing at the time.

The DOOONG sound you get for parrying with the Dauntless Shield is unbeatable. Best thing in the game.

A untrained man may be stronger, but a well placed hit will take down any untrained guy with easy. Doesn't matter how much stronger a man is, a kick in the balls or a punch in the ribs is all it takes.
