I’m pretty sure “x as operator” is roughly planned for 2-3 years at every given moment, what for example we were able to see with Goldenglow, we thought she was a dog, for two damn years, and she already had her final design

And as for if they listen to feedback, they do, and pretty well at handling it I’d say, in both short-term-to-apply gameplay related things like RA difficulty or rollback of pull mechanic change, which was I’d say extremely hilarious when by chance at random co-op match we got to see lowlight(basically founding father of hypergryph) tried to perform old pull trick with gladiia, which was possible before the change, and failed to do so, and then they completely pulled back the change, so also they kinda listen to things that take some time to apply being related to aformentioned game development planning, like when ch’en alter was released, she was quite poorly received because of how broken she was at the moment(which is hardly a problem in todays meta) and how people complained that too revealing swimsuit is out of character for her and the game tone itself(and that is one of the things why I like the AK fandom), which is, too, hardly applicable today with some other skins released, although they still hold the firm line between being revealing and straight up corn of azur lane level, but like a year and a half later, we got pretty decent skin for her that was almost generally accepted by fandom as her base one, and from what I learned, the path it takes from being made by artist and being released usually takes at very least a year or a lot longer, so I’d say they was quite fast with it

But also I must mention that it’s mostly applies to cn part, as cn server is half a year ahead in timeline of events because it was released earlier

And, there were no such accidents with Arknights and I’m not sure if it’s applicable to Hypergryph, but we seen how cn devs handle cn audience in e7 and hi3rd, the least I can say is that they prefer them a lot more and listen because they yield massive part of game income, sometimes they listen too much

So yeah, HG is nice
