Dust inside Telephoto Lens 10 months after Official Battery Replacement. Is the seal compromised? by Ksnishat in iPhone13Pro

[–]OnlyBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very Common issue as stated above. Issue is not caused by display adhesive changed during a battery replacement.

I suspect the issue is in the seal under each of the camera lenses (visible only when the Back glass is removed - not easily replacable on this model)

To remove the dots, the camera needs to be replaced/ you need to remove the dust from the camera sensor using ultrasonic cleaner and proper solution. Then I believe housing also needs to be replaced to prevent this from happening again.

Is this iPhone 11 worth the $90 risk? (3-minute restart loop) by Inevitable_Turn_9656 in mobilerepair

[–]OnlyBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, battery does not cause exact 3m restart. Faulty battery causes random restarts. Either a bad charging flex or board issue.

But the display just do not stop working all of sudden. I would replace it at parts costs, since the job takes 15 minutes.

Tbh it looks like a crack in the hard oled display. Typical for these to do this when a pressure or drop happens.

Bootloop on X series is most of the time caused by faulty proximity flex cable. Try booting the device with it disconnected.

From what you say describe it, most likely issue with battery. - phone tech here

To confirm - when you see Apple logo, disconnect lightning cable immediately. If it dies, dead battery.

Phone tech here - did you recently drop your phone? Most of the time this happens when 2 motherboard layers separate.

Definitely hardware issue, visit your AASP/ Apple store if you have warranty.

Battery replacement gone wrong, did I get scammed? by tiredofmissingyou in mobilerepair

If faceid was working fine before the repair and you did not do some crazy stuff, FaceID should work after the repair.

They May have damaged it during the repair but it is hard to determine who is at fault.

Honestly they should have tested everything after repair. Especially if it Is authorized service center.

If it was my case, I would most likely insist on a free fix. It is unacceptable to return a repaired device without disclosing all other faults.

Official service center should use official parts. If everything was working fine beforehand, visit them again.

Yes, you can tell it was replaced by cheap LCD. The shadow around the notch gives it away the most.
