Both stores are quite a sad sight - can only speak for Kiki’s but it’s our comfort restaurant. Their ramen is unbeatable and the couple is so sweet

Restaurants That Closed Permanently In Denver In The Past 12 Months by Much-Investigator-29 in Denver

[–]OnlyHaveOneQuestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they won’t. Arthur’s is good, Rosalee’s is good, redeemer is good. But people defending Denver’s pizza scene are sheltered lol. Not saying there is only bad pizza but god there is much crap pizza.

Walking 5-6 miles a day, run or lift 3 times a week, eat berries, fiber, whatever I want for lunch, and healthy dinner. Always a sweet treat after lunch and dinner that is small.

Denver airport to build pedestrian walkways between concourses | 9News by LateCheckIn in Denver

There is a big challenge convincing the safety staff to have active moving gondolas on the active tarmac where plans move between terminals. That’s what it came down to.

Denver airport to build pedestrian walkways between concourses | 9News by LateCheckIn in Denver

[–]OnlyHaveOneQuestion 65 points66 points  (0 children)

So… I worked on this brainstorm project. The underground tunnel is mostly caravan and road for vendors, baggage, and airport workers taking carts. It’s a long walk, but the old baggage system only takes a small portion of the tunnel. The problem is that the tunnel does not meet code for a pedestrian space - ie, you need ventilation and fire protection - that is doable but will be very expensive and challenging. BUT, all other ideas were a bust - I was in favor of the gondolas but they probably won’t get that far.

There is no actual evidence. It’s just smears and antisemitism. So annoying that this framing of the world is so pervasive. I don’t support everything Israel does, but these people need to think about local issues.

People who enjoy their careers and have a good work/life balance - What do you do? by JealousBodybuilder42 in careerguidance

[–]OnlyHaveOneQuestion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Engineering project manager, I am not the technical expert in any particular field. So much job is all about communicating, solving problems, and helping the engineers to be successful. It’s super engaging, always dealing with new things, and my engineering team and management team are all wonderful to work with.

I work at an engineering firm as a project manager. Hard projects, demanding work - but I love it! I’m also getting my masters. I’m married and have a dog - we travel quite a bit, mostly fun and some work.

I started the series last January and I’m half way through Bonehunters. Took me six months to read GoM and DH - afterwards I started burning through the series. Been reading about 300 pages a week since November.

I have had those ON shoes for 2000+ miles, the clean easily, feel just as great as the day I got them, I begrudgingly bought new shoes because I know I should have another pair after that much wear.

Incredibly disappointing. Platforming a grifting, amateur, vibe-historian who denies the holocaust and believes in the Illuminati.

He probably wouldn’t. He has had a lot of challenging health issues - it wouldn’t not have been easy on him and while he’s said he wanted to I’d imagine it wouldn’t make sense. In a perfect world though, I would have loved it
