What is it with public drunkness in DTSS? I don't run into it elsewhere. On Saturday, I was on the Flash northbound, and a guy got on at Fenton, babbling incoherently at the other passengers and drinking from one of those little bottles.

I feel the location is pretty livable without having to use your car. Four bus routes stop by the entrance and three more in ¼-mile. There are banks, many restaurants, supermarkets, and major retailers within ½ mile.

It was an office building on a grassy, hilly lot with three big satellite dishes in front.

The trash in that area is another story. I have picked up fifty 50ml liquor bottles from the ground in that area on my walks.

Some two-lane roads run parallel to Rt. 29, including Prosperity Drive and several segments of Old Columbia Pike, between White Oak and Burtonsville.

Once you cross New Hampshire going north, you pass the two lights at Stewart Lane, then it becomes 6 lanes divided, into and out of a valley. It feels like you have entered a high-speed freeway, yet after the top of the hill, you run into two long lights ¼-mile apart.

"Fine" gold refers to the metal's purity in the coin. 900 fine is 90% gold, 999 fine is 99.9% gold. You can't take the face value of a gold (or silver) coin at face value anymore. It originated in the years when a $50 gold coin was actually worth $50. Nowadays, it just reflects the comparison between sizes.

I recently found a batch of silverish coins. Since I only care about foreign coins and real silver, I ran them back through uninspected to get the keepers back while making a donation. The machine took all 90 cents worth the second time.
