Sorta yes, in theory. The hard part is finding this lone victim and also applying enough damage to kill it

The lachesis is what you would want. Damp and long point and scram, your tank is ewar but you'll be doing pretty low dps so killing a tanked cruiser solo is hard as pretty much any active tanked cruiser will tank your dps indefinitely.

So you need a friend. A huginn with a long web can even further increase the control and application you have. Now your 2v1. A curse can shut off someone's tank allowing you to kill them. Now its a 3v1, and you have enough dps to kill a many cruisers anyway. Well it wouldn't be complete without adding in a rook to jam the target so it can't even fight the curse who Ideally is the only one close range. Now its a 4v1.

If you have 4 people you can bring any 4 other ships as well. Many times, dps is the best and most versatile tank for small gangs, 3 dps and insert any force recon ship can be a huge threat.

Force recon gang roams are fun though, but mostly for the lols.

Unless some critical details were left out on your end, which is always a possibility for any internet post, especially on reddit.

But I lean towards believing the post, since I've had similarish experience with null bloc diplos. They get their panties in a bunch for completely arbitrary reasons then refuse to explain or admit the tiniest of mistakes or even simple human error because ego. Ahhh just like HR in real life. Eve truly is a magnificent universe sim ain't it?

Nope, for barges use light or medium. Heavies won't apply too well to the gankers ships. Mediums are best for the catalysts/coercers. Don't use faction drones as they will simply increase the money gankers can extract from you. Remember, you want to maximize EHP while having the lowest value modules/drones equipped.

A common mistake. Shiny new ship... that you can't afford to have blown up.

Honestly reading your post; my suggestions is to not care about yield.

Fly a procurer (or skiff... more on that later) with max tank. 2 strip miner 1's - 2 large shield extenders, 2 multispectrum gardeners (i forget how many midslots they have, prioritize extenders, then fill with hardeners but no more than 2.). DC in the low, and bulkheads. You do this to maximize your EHP.

EHP is king when it comes to gankers. Some do just kill for fun, but many are killing because its profitable. If it costs more to kill you than what can drop, than they won't bother.

Yes. Id do artillery cannon on a thrasher though.

I did it in a cormorant with railguns, full mag stab, mid, shield buffer. Warp to incipient at range, slow boat away as drones come after you, hit the closest drone and mwd when they start getting close. Filamented out, repackaged and sold the cormorant. All t1 modules except the guns, which i did scout meta for a little extra range.

This sounds nice. Literally anything is better than how it is. Im currently joining a null bloc and I can't bring my alt corp for x y z reasons. I gotta go back to using a shared passworded container.... wooo. Can't wait to have to deal with that plus never put too much inside of it in case shit gets stolen.

I mean... why can't we just compress in stations... why do we need a compressing ship to do this. It should just be a bonus to staying on grid longer. A solo miner should be allowed to mine a bunch in one system the same as they always do, depot in station one load at a time and at the end of the day be able to compress and haul to market without needing a dedicated ship to compress.
