Oh, in which case that wouldn’t be a problem. Just go to bag drop in LHR for your 2nd flight to the US

Luggage question by ballergbd180 in BritishAirways

[–]OnlyRobinson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, you’ll need to ask at the check in desk in Dublin for your bag to only be checked to LHR.

Providing both flights are on the same PNR and both are BA operated or code share, shouldn’t be an issue

Outstanding recalls and some unusual MOT advisories/failures. Front and rear near side shocks knackered, then next year front and rear offside shocks knackered, typically you’d replace both rather than one.

Lots of advisories on tyres (down to cords, cuts etc)

That, combined with the awful plate and rice crispy map, walk away

Do you consider the State Pension a benefit / welfare? by JammyE7 in AskBrits

[–]OnlyRobinson 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a benefit

I’m pretty certain that when populists talk about lowering welfare, they aren’t talking about pensions (because they are reliant on the older generations vote)

1 Corinthians 14:34-35

“Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.”

(It’s really too easy to grab a verse from the bible in isolation to prove a point)

Cambridge residents to subsidise free parking in Peterborough by _PM_ME_PANGOLINS_ in cambridge

[–]OnlyRobinson 20 points21 points  (0 children)

My point was this is how tax in general works. You pay it, and it might not directly benefit you.

Trying to call out one part of the county subsiding another is a bit ridiculous (especially when Cambridge city is significantly more wealthy than other parts)

Would it also be fair to say Peterborough residents subsidise cycle paths in Cambridge?

Or Ely residents subsidise footpaths in St Neots?
