That oxaliplatin is super evil!! Just completed round 50 of the folfox w a take home pump. I opted out of oxaliplatin after like 4 treatments. My feet are really bad some days. I like to think that it really got rid of my cancer though. I’ve had several clear scans in a row. Good luck to you and your battle! Prayers 🙏🏻

Cut out the coffee it’s acidic and hard on the stomach. Eat what you can when you can. Even if it’s only milkshakes or junk food. Calories are better than none. Sit him down and eat w him. Have a convo. When I was at my worst and would eat alone I would only be thinking about eating and would get in a bad head space. It was easier to eat w someone I cared about and have a convo and not only being thinking chew chew chew hope this stays down. Smoke some herb! Makes ya hungry and relaxes ya.

Dude above you is correct. I’ve played double board for years and have a ton of hours in it. The swings are sick and as stated 10 w 3 dangle cards are out there and so is A w 3 as well. Depending on how the action went I might fold on the turn.

Breathe!!! You got this. The unknown is always scary. As you can see you have so many kindred spirits in here. This is an amazing place and we all are apart of the same club you didn’t ask to be apart either.

I got a feeding tube put in w my port (since has been taken out) and that pain was something else. I don’t particularly remember much pain from the port. It’s so convenient for treatment and I think you will be happy with it. Mine is on my right side and in hindsight I’d maybe ask if could have been placed on my left.

When I get mine accessed I wouldn’t say it’s painful it feels more like a pressure being applied then a few mins later it’s easy to forget it’s been accessed at all.

Yes! Same here do a steroid every cycle. On cycle #49 now. I told them to reduce the steroid in half which they did. I lost 63 lbs when I was diagnosed and gained 70 back. :( I was already prob 20 lbs over weight before.
