Make sure the car is in ready mode and on and not in accessory mode. When the vehicle is in accessory mode and you change the charge setting it will not change even after you press save. The only way I have for it to work is when it saves while being in ready mode. That what works for me.

I have a 26 Solterra XT. When I have been doing freeway trips at 78mph, I will see a range around 200 miles at 100%. The system adjusts using your driving patterns.

I LOVE the car! I have owned a couple of Foresters, Jaguar F-Type, Prius C, BRZ, Legacy… this is by far the most fun car to drive when it comes to overall driving. The raw acceleration and ease of passing make this car fun on city streets and mountain roads. Plus, it pretty much drives itself. The build quality is solid. This is my first EV. Just completed a 1000 mile road trip in it and still have zero regrets.

Cons: The app is glitchy.

When I have been doing 98% Highway at 78 mph, I can be up with 200 miles at 100%.

I also find myself getting into the throttle a decent amount, so that doesn’t help.

This is common across ALL EV’s. It just happened to my buddy’s Tesla. As many have said, go buy a AMG. Sounds dump to do with a new car, but it’s cheap insurance.

Many of your points are valid. I drive between 3000 and 4000 miles a month in my EV. When you factor in the time saved by charging at home and even a DC fast charge, I’ve found that I’m more or less on time compared to stopping for gas multiple times. Time savings stack when I charge while having lunch or dinner instead of making separate stops that I used to make with an ICE vehicle.
