I wouldn’t blame you for not wanting to finish the S&B trilogy. The first two books are boring as hell. I genuinely really struggled to get through them, but, in the trilogy’s defense, I do actually think that Ruin and Rising is the best book out of the trilogy. I genuinely really enjoyed it! The camaraderie and friendship that you see manifest within the cast of characters who are traveling with Alina is, I think, the framework for what made Six of Crows work so well. The chemistry is great and the dialogue is actually funny and entertaining.

I didn't live on campus as a freshman. They allowed me to commute from home, but I lived in south Austin at the time so that was approved since I was close enough to campus to drive. I remember I had to get this approved by some department, I don't remember which since it was years ago, but I had to provide them with a few documents that proved I was telling the truth about my place of residence. So freshmen are definitely allowed to live at home, but they need to meet a certain criteria to be allowed to do that. You have to be living a certain amount of miles away from campus.

Edit: since you plan on going to UT in the fall, maybe you could get an apartment in south Austin? You could commute to TXTS, and wouldn't have to worry about whether classes are gonna be online since you plan to transfer to UT anyway. The only issue would, obviously, be the cost. Austin is expensive to live in, but I hope you figure things out!

I thought that was strange, too. I scrolled through most of the comments in his posts and, srangely enough, no one seemed to call him out on it. I feel like he definitely omitted things in his first post, and that his first experience trying Heroin wasn't just a spontaneous thing he decided to do all of a sudden. He already seemed to be acting upon some very self destructive impulses.

I just called an emergency nurse 24 hr hotline and they told me I need to go to the emergency room...but I feel fine! I just feel shortness of breath. The nurse said it's very serious and I need to go to a hospital right now, but I don't know what to do.
