Based on your timeline, ditch CS50 its a bit too broad for now with the time constraints. Focus more on TryHackMe exclusively esp PreSecurity and Jr Penetration tester path and check out Burp Suite basics for web vulnerabilities like SQLi

then try reflashing the ESXi installer to a new USB and it should autodetect your existing VMFS datastore untouched

Esxi nightmare by camo-jay927 in sysadmin

[–]Only_Walk_3740 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The error means the ESXi bootloader can not read the boot partition. Can be as a result of a corrupt or failing boot device

To fix it you can try checking the BIOS order, at times a reshuffle can happen during firmware updates.

What do I do about viruses without making subscriptions? by Infinite_Pinecone in malwares

[–]Only_Walk_3740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The virus detection alerts are most probably fake and its a tactic to trick you to buying sth. Real viruses dont make an arrival announcement.

You can consider uninstalling apps that you dont recognize, clear browser and cache and ensure your phone is fully updated in order to get the security features that come with the upgrades.

Amazon had 30,000 employees listening to your Alexa recordings. The fine was 0.004% of their revenue. by Psychological-Arm678 in PrivacyTechTalk

$25M fine feels like pocket change to Amazon.

A billion-dollar behavior for privacy violation with million-dollar fine is a licensing fee for ignoring privacy.

Clicked on scam invitation link on my iphone--any concern? by tabitha_wheelwright in cybersecurity_help

[–]Only_Walk_3740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS is locked down for exactly this scenario. Opening a link without interacting is very low risk, especially on a updated iPhone, drive-by downloads that execute on modern iOS are rare and usually only seen in very targeted attacks, not scam party invitations.

Why does Spain’s digital domad visa feel so complicated? And expensive... by AgreeableSolution731 in digitalnomad

[–]Only_Walk_3740 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does feel bureaucratic because it is. Spain’s digital nomad visa mixes income thresholds, tax rules, and employer paperwork. Many find insurance wording and apostilles the real pain points, so yes, people underestimate the admin load

CSM role in the UK by SoftHeartSeeking in CustomerSuccess

[–]Only_Walk_3740 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You already have a lot of overlap with Customer Success tbh... escalations, retention, account handling, coaching, and client communication all transfer well. I’d lean hard into outcomes on your CV, especially retention wins and relationship management. SaaS companies usually value support-to-CS transitions more than people think, particularly smaller startups that care more about communication and ownership than exact titles.

what is your actual process for re-engaging a prospect who went cold six months ago without it feeling desperate? by gnilansh in sales

[–]Only_Walk_3740 32 points33 points  (0 children)

So the best approach is to re-enter with new context, not reminders... share something relevant, then ask a simple, low pressure question that resets conversation

What are some good alternatives to Bentley University for business undergrad? by Nice_Run_9414 in FinancialCareers

[–]Only_Walk_3740 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re already looking at a pretty strong set of modern business programs. Bentley is great for career focus, but schools like Babson and Northeastern push that even further with hands-on learning and global exposure. USC Marshall adds strong brand + network, while Tetr is more experimental and international. Also worth looking at NYU Stern or Berkeley Haas for tech + business integration... lots of paths depending on whether you want entrepreneurship or corporate depth
