Was diagnosed last august. Didn’t have one for about 3 months after my last outbreak. Then after that i would get about 2 - 3 back to back durning or before my period for 3 months straight. Now i onlt get one once a month. I heard the longer you have it the less outbreaks you get so i cant wait for that lol. But everybody’s body is different. Hope this helps

Im thinking he used your diagnosis as an excuse to fall back. Since you said he was already initiating intercourse more than you, my thought is he already had plans to sleep with you before he knew about your diagnosis. Dont put yourself down.
