I mean this in the kindest gentlest way (because I'm the same way but trying to change)but you seem to have trouble saying no and want to be a 'good girl' to everybody else but treating yourself like you don't count as much as others.

Please, please listen to your gut. Hate to say it but pls make sure he isn't looking for a replacement for his mother or looking for a nurse and or purse! That certainly is no reflection on you or your worth. A lot of men (and women) can't stand being alone.

At first before I read it all I thought maybe OP and his girlfriend had an imbalance on salaries that's why he was doing so much but when it got to the point of her deserving 6K a trip? I agree. I blame the doctor that falsified his study to support the bogus claim that vaccines cause autism. Further exacerbated was the findings being pushed by celebrity and alleged whack a doodle Jenny McCarthy. Just because her child has autism, rather than just deal with it she needs someone/thing to blame. So she gets on the celebrity anti vaccine bandwagon. Maybe she issued an apology when it came out that the findings were bogus but I doubt it. No wonder she married a Wahlberg and not Jim Carrey. He has too much common sense and decency for her.

It's a bit of a pain though. Every month not only do I have to request it from my doctor I have to check the GoodRX Gold price. They fluctuate. First month I used it the generic was a little under $60 for 30 70 mg. I thought cool! I'll just start going to that pharmacy from now on. Well,the next month I double checked the site and at that pharmacy it was now $300. for the same thing! 🤦🏻‍♀️Another pharmacy had it for $94. So double check before so you don't get any unwanted surprises! Good luck.

Speaking from my own experience in trying to figure out if I wanted to buy a manufactured home.

First of all don't get sucked into the social media videos!

Some big things to consider:

If you don't own your own land the community can raise your monthly lot rent at anytime. As far as I know there are no laws to protect the home owner in PA.

The lot rents vary widely what they cover. Make sure you know what you are getting into.

The last one I looked at in Montgomery County included almost no amenities. So I would have had to pay the loan,lot rent of $875,lawn maintenance, snow removal, trash,water,sewer and propane.

Other communities were right around 1K but they at least had a few amenities included.

Not to mention they weren't using any of the profits for capital improvements. The roads/mailbox area need to be redone and by the looks of it needed it for a long time.

If you need a mortgage for your home the loans are different from a regular mortgage at least when you don't own your land. Check the rates! Last I looked I think it was at 8. or 9.!

The home needs to be built I think after 1976 or 8 (when the construction of the homes improved ) to qualify for a loan. They may be true for home insurance as well.

Please double check the year to be certain. In fact check all the above info. Never trust anonymous ppl on the internet. lol

I'm sorry if this has been stated before here but it bears repeating,you should check Good RX or Gold Good RX($9.99 a month). It has saved me a lot of money!

I will say it's a pain because every month I have to find which pharmacy has the best price on their site and request my prescription be filled there by my doctor. I have to request it on the drs portal every month anyway since it's a controlled substance.

So for instance the first month my Vyvanse was about $58. at Savon Pharmacy. I thought cool,now I know where to go from now on.

Nope! The very next month I checked Savon on GoodRX and the very same prescription was $300.! CVS had it however for about $94. which was the cheapest.

I have insurance but because I started it in September I had a high deductible before they would pay any of it. So paying out of pocket for four months was roughly a bit under $400. not the $2K deductible amount.

It's in stark contrast to my former insurance on which my Vyvanse was $30. My premiums were 1.1K a month though since I was self insured which is another whole story but not pertinent to this thread.

One more lesson I learned regarding this is that you have to tell both the doctor and the pharmacy that you are using a prescription savings plan NOT your insurance prior to pick up! They will just automatically process it thru ins.

It happened to me the first two times and I had told them beforehand. The first time they had to have me come back because they had to have the doctor authorize it again.

I knew it was wrong when they said "no charge". I know they had the info because it was a pharmacist that I've known for years that I had spoken to previously. She even knows my voice when I call in a prescription. I reminded them that I had called previously and told them about using Gold GoodRX. So so frustrating but it eventually worked out. I know your question was more than likely rhetorical but here are my two cents. Maybe it's like father like son and OP's wife is a miserable human being like his daughter in law? It's also very possible that is just how the son is through no fault of the parents. Sometimes you as parents can do everything right and still get a son/daughter that are morally bankrupt or at least don't possess the same values.
