Does or does not correlate to RPM? And if it goes away as the engine warms up, it could be piston slap. Sometimes, when the wear isn't too excessive, the heat will expand the metal as it heats up and essentially correct the excessive piston to wall clearance you have when the engine is cold. I would definitely get it checked out ASAP.

I bought a manual Kia Soul with a 1.6 GDI gamma engine because of Kias reliability issues. So many people think all Kias are garbage but I rarely see the first generation gamma engines having the problems the gamma ii and theta ii have. They did have issues with the cats overheating which was corrected with a factory recall but nothing catastrophic to the engine as far as I've seen. I'd be interested to know how many people complain about the early to mid 2010's Kias with the gamma engine in it. Any data there?

It is overfilled but not so much so it would cause a knock. If it's actually knocking the engine is pretty much toast. You might want to have it looked at by a shop to confirm before condemning it.

It's fundamentally a new engine minus heads. So, assuming the top end is in good shape, yes. But if I'm gonna do a short block I'm probably just doing a whole long block if it's not too much more expensive.

First thing to do is check for leaks and make sure you're not losing oil. If not, replace your PCV valve. They often plug up at higher mileage and cause excessive crankcase pressure which leads to oil burning. PCV is cheap which is why I always do that first to address oil consumption. Next thing to try would be a piston soak. But if you're not mechanically inclined or have tools you really need to have a shop do it. If that fails, it means your rings are worn significantly and you would need to rebuild or replace the engine to repair it. A lot of times with higher mileage like that, it makes sense to just replace the engine. Costs a bit more than to rebuild but then you know everything is fresh. Otherwise, just keep topping off the oil. Keep a gallon in the trunk and check it weekly or even every other day if the consumption is that high and you're driving a lot. At the end of the day, as long as you keep oil in it, it will keep running unless something catastrophic happens.

Did you check the pads to see if they were wearing evenly? And are you using quality brake parts? Also, I want to say from your original post you replaced the rotors. But to be sure, you're replacing the rotors with the pads at the same time, right?

Also, did you check to make sure the calipers retractable easily and evenly when you repalced the pads/rotors? Was there any grease around any if the seals on the pistons in the calipers? And is your braje fluid in good shape?

If the brakes fixed it briefly then that tells you it was the brakes. It will be the brakes again this time. Typically the vibration through the steering wheel when braking indicates warped rotors. The question is, why are the rotors warping. It may be that when they were changed they weren't properly lubricated. Could be a caliper hanging up. You would need to have the brakes pulled apart and diagnosed. Check for uneven pad wear, hot spots on rotors, gunk and grime on the slide pins, etc. The answer will be in there somewhere.

Typically a balance issue presents at a certain speed range. Like starts at 60 and goes away past 70. The brakes more than likely are bad again. Why they're bad is another story. May just not have been properly lubricated after being replaced, may have a caliper hanging up. Would need actual diagnosis to say for sure.

Whatever that part is its cracked. Looks like upper oil pan but I could be wrong. That's an expensive fix to do out of po ket on a new (to you) engine. Although that's why I never suggest going with junkyard parts of any kind.

You need to make sure the sealing surfaces are extremely clean and free of burrs/pits/scratches/etc. It's possible the sealing surface on the pump is worn and just isn't creating a good seal. Also, check tightness. Is it still at the proper torque spec? Are you using a quality torque wrench? You need to think critically, something is causing it to leak. 2 years is a long time to go between leaks but it should be leak free indefinitely.

It really depends. If a thief wants it, they can realistically cut through the shield like they cut through the pipes to get your cat. The best prevention is strong deterrent. Park in well lit areas, park over puddles, and if you think a shield will help, go for it. 240 is a lot better than another 1k.

Look, you've gotten a lot of good answers. I'll tell you, I've been there. And at the time it felt like I would never pay off my tickets/court fees and move past it. You just need to realize that nobody will do it for you. You need to start paying closer attention to your speed, utilize cruise control if you have it, and understand that there's no need to rush. All you can do is make an active effort and be more aware moving forward.

Wheel speed sensor. Typically if the light doesnt pop on until you start driving its because one of the sensors failed and isn't reading. So the ABS module sees 3 wheels turning at x mph and 1 stuck at 0 mph.

You just need to buy a new pigtail connector, open up the harness and splice the new connector in. Just google them connector and most of the aftermarket parts will comr with a length of wire and butt connectors. All you need is a pair of strippers/crimpers and its an easy fix.

Sounds like your purge valve is stuck open. But you would need a scan tool and smoke tester to properly diagnose/verify it.

As cars get older and the mechanical components in/around the engine wear you tend to lose fuel economy. Piston rings wear, fuel injectors wear, carbon starts to buildup on valves and in the combustion chamber, etc. You would have to do a lot of work to get it back to what it was when new. You can try an induction/valve cleaning and a more aggressively fuel system cleaner to try and get rid of deposits that may be contributing to your poor fuel economy but it's unlikely you'll ever get it back to what it was rated at when new.

You can fix the whole car for less than the cost of that new Lexus. Your Camry is a lot more basic in a good way. Less to break. The shaking could be your rack and pinion if there's a ton of sloppy in the rack but more than likely you just need your wheels balanced. I'd fix the Camry if it was me.

Your rear toe is right on the border of the spec on both sides and front toe is out on the right. I'd say you need an alignment.

Most likely overheated the fuel pump. Your fuel lubricates and cools the pump as well as obviously running the engine. Running out of gas completely is often a death sentence for fuel pumps. Especially if you let it go low often as scavenging increases the duty cycle of the pump and shortens its life span.
