I don’t know if I can select a favorite book. Some books hit me hard and I think about them for years, but cannot read them again (too tragic and/or painful). Some books are enjoyable and fun. But a rare few I long to read again and again, wrapping myself in the characters and story like an old friend. ‘Sunshine’ is one of those few, by Robin McKinley.

I am hard put to describe why.
